Arriving in Beijing 教学目标：



知识目标：

1. 学生能够正确地听、说、读、写、用men women children many people这五个单词。

2. 学生能够听懂、会说、会读、会用everyone这个单词。

3. 能够综合运用所学知识，进行简单地看图说话。



能力目标：

1.

培养学生听、说、读、写等基本的英语学习能力。

2.

培养学生主动学习、乐于参与、积极合作的能力。

3.

培养学生观察比较与表达表演的能力。



情感目标：

1.

通过唱歌、看图、做游戏、争得红苹果等活动，增强学生学习英语的兴趣和信心。

2.

通过小组合作、同桌讨论的形式

，培养学生团结互助的团队精神。

教学重点：四会掌握men women children many people五个单词。

教学难点：能够正确区分mam-men,woman-women的读音、写法与意义，正确运用。

教学用具：单词卡片、多媒体课件、录音机与磁带、奖励用的红苹果与小树。

教学过程：

Step1 Class Opening and Review 1. Greet with a song

T: Hello! Hello! Hello! How are you?

S: I’m fine. I’m fine. I hope that you’re too. (设计意图：问候语采用师生对唱的方式，不仅缓和了紧张的气氛，缩短了彼此间的距离，而且自然而然地进入英语学习状态。) 2. Review

T: Boys and girls, are you ready for English class?

S: Yes！

T: Okay！Let’s look at some pictures first. Look！Who’s this? Hands up, please!

S: This is a man\woman\girl\boy\baby.

(设计意图：快速问答，复习上一单元的重点话题，为本节学习新知识作铺垫。) Step2 New Concepts 1. men, women, children, people, many ·Demonstrate the key concepts with drawings. Write and say “men,”“women”and “children.”Draw a circle around all the pictures. Write

and say “people.”Add lots of other little pictures inside the circle. Write and say “many people.”

(设计意图：通过简笔画让学生更加形象更直观地理解单词，教师介绍简笔画的过程其实就是学习第一部分课文内容的过程，这样

的学习过程自然流畅而不刻板。) ·

Demonstrate“children”and“many”with students. lead a dialogue such as: Teacher:（Point to a boy）Is he a boy? Class: Yes, he is a boy. Teacher：（Point to a girl）Is she a girl? Class: Yes, she is a girl. Teacher: He is a boy. She is a girl. They are children. What are they? Class: They are children. Teacher: (Point to other boys and girls and ask the same questions)Boys and girls are children. Now there are many children! Many children! Say it, please, class. Class: Many children. Teacher: Great!

(设计意图：再次介绍many和children是为了让学生更加准确地理解这两个单词的意思，使学生明白girl与boy是有性别区分的，而children没有，是男孩与女孩统称。）

Read the new words using the word-cards. (设计意图：通过对比，使学生加深印象，找到记忆单词的窍门。) ·

Practice. Look at pictures and say the new words. (设计意图: 巩固新知，并且适当提高，培养学生运用知识的能力及口头表达能力。)

2. Use the student book ·Review

T: There are many people in the park. There are many people in the zoo.

What place else has many people? Look！What is it? S: It’s the Beijing Train Station. T: Yes, it’s the Beijing Train Station. Everyday many people leave here and many people arrive here. (设计意图：复习train station和leave--- arrive，为接下来学生自学课文扫除障碍。) ·Listen and discuss

T: When do Li Ming，Danny，Jenny and Mrs. Li arrive in Beijing?(板书课题) Please listen to Lesson 9 No.2. and find out the answers for these questions and underline them. Discuss in pairs. Check for understanding in class. (设计意图：让学生带着问题听录音可以提高听的效果，学生思考和讨论问题的过程其实就是理解课文内容的过程，问题的答案就是本部分的重点和难点句子，为下面讲解句子埋下伏笔。) ·Demonstrate “everyone”

T: Li Ming is hungry. Jenny is hungry. Danny is hungry. Mrs. Li is hungry. Everyone is hungry. Everyone, say it, please. S: Everyone. T: (Show a picture) The girl is happy, the boy is happy, their father is

happy and their mother is happy,too. So we can say…

S: Everyone is happy. T: Great!

节完整连贯。）
