一.Teaching aims

1.Knowledge Objectives ①Learn the new words “noodles, biscuit, jam, milk, dumplings, rice, bread, hungry”. ②Learn the new pattern “what do you like? I like… I don’t

like….” ③Be able to use the pattern freely.

2.Ability Objectives: Enable the students to use the new pattern to make up a dialogue with their friends in a real life situation.

3.Emotion Objectives: Enable the students to know the healthy food can make them strong. 二．Teaching difficulties.

1. Know how to read and write the new words.

2. Be able to make their own dialogue with the sentence pattern “what do you like? I like… I

don’t

like….”

A bag, Food, fruits, computer, PPT, New words cards, A tape-recorder. 四. Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up

1.Greet with the students

2. Sing “the apple song” together.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Lead in

T: (show the fruit in the bag) Look, what is this ? Yes, it’s an apple. Do you like it?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Me too. I like apples , too.( pear, banana, lemon)

T: So many foods here. I’m very hungry now. Are you hungry? Ss: Yes.

T: Don’t worry. Let’s come my shop to eat some food.

(Show a picture of a shop, with kinds of food in it)

2.New words

Point to the food , teach the food words one by one.

Play a game, show the foods cards quickly to see who is the quickest to speak out the English, the first one can won a little medal. 3. Sentences.

(Put the real foods on the desk) T: Look, there are so many foods here. I like dumplings. What do you like? S: I like milk.

T:I don’t like rice. What about you? S: I don’t like noodles. (dumplings, rice)

Ask several students to answer the question to manage the pattern, prepare small amount of food to give the students as reward. 4.Part B Let’s learn T: we have learnt so many food names. Now let’s look at our books Read the new words after the tape. Then read by themselves. 5.Let’s chant Bread, bread, I like bread Milk, milk, I don t like milk.

Biscuits, biscuits, I like biscuits. Rice, rice, I don t like rice. …

6. Part A let’s listen and say Read after the tape. Then, read it by themselves, Step 3 Consolidation.

Work in pairs, practice the dialogue, choose several pairs to act the dialogue in front of the class.

Step 4 Home work

Copy the new words ten times and find out their friends.
