教学过程：

Step1: Greetings Step2:Pre-reading 1.Lead-in T: What’s this? It’s a bird. I have a cartoon about the bird. Do you want to watch it? T: After watching it, please tell me: What can you see in the cartoon?

T: What can you see in the cartoon? S: I can see a river/too many cars/much smoke…

T: How do you feel about the cartoon, happy or sad? S: Sad. T: Yes. People did so many bad things. The earth is sad. What should we do? Ss: We should protect the Earth. T: Yes. Today we’re going to learn Unit 7 Protect the Earth.(teach the new word: earth) 2.Think and say T: Look, this is the Earth. What do you know about the Earth? Read a picture book Our Earth, our home. T: What’s the change of the Earth from 1994 to 2017?

Ss: The Earth is not as beautiful as before.

T: What does Mr. Earth want to tell us? Ss: We should protect the Earth. Mr. Earth: We need some green guards to protect the Earth.Do you want to join(加入)us？

Ss: OK.

T: How can we become green guards? Look, here are some demands.
