Step 1 Revision

Play the tape, the students sing an English song together. It’s time to go to school. Lisa, have your breakfast. Put away your books. Brush your teeth. …

Revise the words they have

learnt from last unit. Step 2 Presentation

Show them some flashcards and revise numbers from 1~20.

Put 20 and 1 together, then ask the students: What is twenty and one? Help the students

Play the tape recorder, the students listen to the story, ask them try to understand the story

Step 3 Look and say

Then play the tape again. The students listen and repeat. Put up the wall picture, ask the students

to make up new dialogues by themselves. 教

Invite several pairs to act put their dialogues. Give them a big applause.

Step 4 Practice SB Page 26, Part 2. Play the tape,

the students do the exercise. Then play the tape again, ask the students check the answer in class.

Anyone whose answers are all right will get a small prize.

Write “eleven , twelve” on the blackboard. The students write down in their exercise books. Page 27, Part 3. Let’s play. The students have a competition among each other.
