Teaching procedure: Step1 Pre-reading 1. Greetings. 2. Introduce a new friend. T: Boys and girls, today I’m going to introduce a new friend to you. Look, this is Mr. Frog. Let’s say hello to our new friend.

S: Hello, Mr. Frog. T: Mr. Frog likes travelling very much. He goes to many places and takes a lot of photos. Do you want to enjoy some of his photos.

S: Yes. 3. Look and learn (1) T: Look! Last year, Mr. Frog went to these places. Now let's follow his trace and have a look at the photos. (2) Show the photos and learn about some great cities in the world. Beijing

I will go to Australia this summer holiday. I will go there on the first of July and go back on the first of August. I will go to see the lovely kangaroos and koalas. I will watch the Australian football games. I will go there by plane. I' m so excited! (2) Ask and answer T: I have some questions for Mr. Frog, can you help him to answer my questions?

Question1 is about “Where”: Where will you go, Mr. Frog?

Question2 is about “When”: When will you go there, Mr. Frog? (Present and teach: How long will you stay there? I will stay there for a month.) T: This time, can you ask Mr. Frog some questions? I’ll give you the keywords.
