一、教学目标：

知识与能力：

1)听说读写单词TV，kite, ball，听说认读单词sofa，armchair 2)能够在如常生活中灵活运用句子Look at the living room. There is a TV. There are two kites. 过程与方法：在活动中，积极参与小组竞赛、小组合作，激发学生参与活动的热情，主动用英语进行交流。

情感态度与价值观：

1）使学生树立不仅要爱自己的“小家”，更要爱我们的“大家”--地球. 2）我们只有一个地球，保护环境人人有责。

学情分析：

四年级学生已经具备了一定的英语学习基础，英语学习兴趣高涨，善于表现，渴望获得更多的英语知识。学生们在四年级上册已经学过kite，ball等词汇，并且在本单元第一课中已经对there be句型有了初步了解。学生已掌握的知识和心理状态，为本节活动的顺利开展打下了基础。

教学重点:听、说、认读living room, armchair, sofa 和TV，听、说、读、写TV，ball, kite,并能在四线格中规范书写。

学时难点：

1）进一步巩固询问及表达某处有什么东西的功能句：There is 和There are...,并把词汇融入句子中进行学习、操练。

2）there be句型的主谓一致原则。

课前准备：

1）道具：有关本课家具、物体的卡片，living room的教具

教学过程：

Step 1 Warm-up

1) 教师自编chant热身，激发学生学习英语热情，创造良好课堂氛围，为下一步的学习奠定良好基础。

T: Hello! Boys and gorls! Welcome to our English class! Firstly, let's have a chant, ok? Ss: Ok! T:Let's begin! Hello!Hello! Let’s go! Welcome to my new home. Bed,bed, bed! There is a bed. Desk, desk, desk! There is a desk. Chair,chair,chair! There is a chair. Step 2 Presentation

1) Introduce

T:Boys and girls, please look at the blackboard carefully and guess, what is this?

Ss:It's a bedroom

T:What's in the bedroom?

SS:desk, chair，TV （Show the picture of bedroom in lesson 1,let the students describe the things in the bedroom. Such as there is a desk in the bedroom.Learn the new word “TV”

and read it in groups.）

2)Making roles T: What's on TV? Do you want to know ?

Ss:Yes. T: Ok! Let's see it together. T：Oh! It's a game called Super Mario. Today we are goting to explore with Mario, ok? Ss: Ok! T: If you do a good job, you'll get more stickers. Let's have a good time! 3)Level 1 T:We come to a house with Mario, it's big and nice. There are many rooms in it.Please guess,where are we now? Ss:Living room.

T: You are so smart. Please read it group by group. T:Super！This is your living room. （After reading the new word living room, teacher give each group a big picture of living room.But there is nothing on it. Students can paste the stickers on the picture.）

4) Level 2 T: Look, we come to another place. It's a living room, too.Whose living room is it? Ss: It's Li Yan's living room. T:We can't see anything in the living room, plesae guess, what's in Li Yan's

living room?

Ss: TV, sofa, armchair, kite, ball. Show the pictures in the living room one by one. (Teach the words —TV, kite, ball .write them on the blackboard, and spell with students together. Teach the word — sofa, armchair: read the words. ) Step 3 Practise

1) Let's talk T:We have passed the second level, let's go to the next level, ready?

Ss: Go!

armchairs, armchairs, there are four armchairs.

Kite,kite, there is a kite.

1)Design your ideal living room. T: You all did a very good job. Now, let's go to the next
