教学目标: 1. 在师生交流和课文情境学习中，让学生能听懂、会说、会读单词和短语dream, future, care about, tooth, astronaut, spaceship, football player, World Cup, dancer, pianist, come true, dentist. 2. 在师生交流和课文情境学习中，让学生能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型What do you want to be in the future? I want to be… I want to …

3. 能正确理解Story time文本内容，并能准确朗读对话，根据关键词尝试复述对话主要内容。

4. 师生围绕课文中的六种职业谈论梦想，让学生产生职业认同感，初步建立各自的职业梦想，并为之努力。

教学重点: 1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词和词组：dream, future, care about, tooth, astronaut, spaceship, football player, World Cup, dancer, pianist, come true, dentist. 2. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型：What do you want to be in the future? I want to be… I want to …

3. 理解Story time对话，正确朗读对话，能谈论对话中六位学生的职业梦想，提高学生的英语交际能力。

教学难点: 1. 正确朗读单词astronaut, pianist, dentist。

2. 能根据关键词句复述对话。

教学过程: Step 1. Warm up 1. 欣赏歌曲: ‘Do you know this man?’

2. 出示图片，谈论歌曲中人物职业：

Q: What’s this man’s job? He’s a doctor/cook/clown. What’s this woman’s job? She’s a singer/dancer/fitness trainer. Step2. About me 1、I’m a teacher, and I want to be a good teacher. 2、When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. That’s my dream. 揭题: Unit 8 Our dreams Step 3. Storytime 1. 整体感知课文，了解文本大意，思考“What do the children want

to be? ”

完成书上P80 的Match and say。

2. 借助句型

“… wants to be a/an …”

校对Match and say 并学习新词

(dentist /astronaut/football player/dancer/writer/pianist) 3. 朗读解析三个男孩的梦想，并谈论职业信息。

4. 自主学习，感知女孩们的职业梦想。

(1) Discuss in pairs: What do you want to be in the future, Su Hai /Nancy/YangLing? What do you want to do in the future? Why? (2) Discuss some ways to make people happy/healthy/clever…

使用以下功能句型：I want to … …make(s) people happy/healthy/clever…

5. 谈论Miss Li’s dream. What’s Miss Li’s dream ? Can you guess? 6. 跟读Story time，指导朗读，初步认识Word linking. 7. 根据关键词提示，复述Story time. 8. 完成书上P80 Think and write: Complete Miss Li’s notes. Step 4. Show time What’s you dream? What do you want to be? What do you want to do? 学生运用句型谈论自己的dream Step 5. Homework 1. 读熟Story time部分对话，尝试背诵，并复述Miss Li’s students’

2. 用英语调查至少5位同学的梦想。
