Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings .

T: Good morning , boys and girls .

Ss: Good morning , Miss Shi

2. Play a game

Magic eyes (合成词) 以旧引新,有football , playground ,bedroom , 带出新词seahorse , sword fish , angelfish 的学习，为本文做了一点铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the title of the book

T；These words are magic , The sea is magic too .

Let’s enjoy some sea pictures . 出示海底世界的图片

The sea is beautiful , we can have a lot of fun in the sea .

引出课题：

Fun in the sea (全体读) 2. Task 1 Fasting reading

Q: Where did Tony and his family go for the holiday ?

学生快速阅读找出答案

学习the Great Barrier Reef 3. Tasking 2 Scanning reading

小组合作

What can Tony and his family do on the beach ? 教会学生阅读的方法，找出答案，齐读短文

4. Tasking 3 Read in groups Q1：How many sea animals do they see after diving ? 小组合作

Q2：Underline the sea animals’ names and features .

同时板书，让学生黑板尚贴出海洋动物的名称和它们的特点

Step 3. Detailed reading

1. Read the paragraph of the Octopus

2. Read and match 海洋动物图片和描述内容连线。

Step4. Practice 1.Show time 准备好的头饰，小组为单位上来表演，一人扮演海洋动物，一人说，其余2人做动作。
