一、教学内容：

译林版英语六年级上册Unit8 Chinese New Year Story time 二、教学目标：

（一）知识目标

1、能听懂、会说、会读单词：get，Hong Kong，next week，tangyuan，food，

firecrackers, fireworks，lion dance，red packet，Chinese New Year’s Eve，Chinese New Year’s Day。

2、能听懂、会说、会读、会写句子：What is/are … going to do? …be going to …

（二）能力目标

1、能初步理解并朗读课文。

2、能在理解课文的基础上讲述Anna一家是如何过春节的。

3、能在理解课文的基础上制定自己的春节计划。

（三）情感目标：

1、能了解春节的风俗习惯。

2、能通过学习，抒发爱国情怀，热爱传统文化，加深对我国传统文化的理解。

三、教学重点：

六、教学过程：

1. Enjoy a video T: Guess：What topic are we going to talk about today? Ss: (Guess the topic.)

2. Talk about Chinese New Year Show the topic: Unit 8 Chinese New Year T: What do you know about Chinese New Year?

Ss: (Say something about Chinese New Year.) Teach: Chinese New Year’s Day

3. Presentation Enjoy some pictures about Chinese New Year Introduce Anna. First, read the text before this email after the tape, ask the students to focus on the marks of stress and intonation. Next, fill in blanks to complete the information of Anna). Then, ask the students to read the first part of the email, focusing on the marks for stress and intonation. After doing that, ask the students to read it after the tape and imitate. Finally, ask students a question. T: Why is Anna so excited? Ss: Because it is going to be Chinese New Year next week. 4. Prediction T: It is going to be Chinese New Year next week. Anna is very excited. She wants to tell us about her plan for Chinese New Year. What is she going to do at Chinese New Year? Can you predict? Ss: I think she is going to …(Students predict Anna’s plan using the sentence prompt.) 5. Watch and order T: Look at the pictures. Anna is going to do these things. Please watch the cartoon and put them into right order. Before watching the cartoon, you will have some time to skim the pictures. Ss: (Students skim the pictures quickly, then watch and order. ) Check the answer. 6.Read and match T: Let’s read her plan, try to catch the main idea and match them with right pictures. Ss: (Read the paragraphs together with teacher and match.) Check the answer. 7. Read and learn T: Read loudly in groups, know more about her plan.

Try to read the new words, the following words may help you: jacket, fireman.

If you cannot understand the words, you can guess the meanings from the pictures or ask your friends or me for help. Ss: (Read the email in groups in a limited time. While working in groups, students can learn the new words

在导入环节，通过观看视频使回顾已经学习过的与节日有关的知识，谈论春节，借此了解学生已具备的背景知识，打开学生思维，并揭题。揭题后，和学生一起欣赏春节活动图片，实现与学生之间的信息互动，并引入文章人物Anna。通过跟读引言文本，获取Anna的人物信息，并在文本上标重读，停顿，升降

调符号对学生进行朗读指导，为学生后续更好的阅读提供抓手。随后，通过预测Anna的春节计划，学生可以初步感知be going to的使用，并激发学生思维。在图片排序环节，借助图片进行信息输入，学生可以初步感知Anna的春节计划。在此环节对学生进行学习策略的指导，即在观看或听材料之前应先预读题目，在读题的基础上才能更自信地应对问题。文本分析过程中，充分利用图片，结合图片信息，让学生快速阅读文本，了解文本大意，并图文匹配，虽然此时，还未进行生词的教学，但学生具备这样的能力，利用自己已有语言知识背景完成学习任务。

教师的活动应该成为学生自己学的助力，提倡自己学，推动自己学。邮件第1，2段难度不大，提倡学生自己学，选择略教，在朗读符号的帮助下，由学生试读课文，再跟读，从而优化朗读；邮件第3，4段有部分生词，略有难度，因此应推动学生自己学。此时，教师适时进行学习策略的指导，如以旧带新读单词，根据图片信息猜意思等。在每教学一个段落后，设计一段mini talk，培养学生的发散思维，辩证思维，给学生表达自己观点的机会。在充分跟读朗读课文之后，提供图片和句型，让学生尝试背诵课文，巩固本节课所学。

最后，创设真实的与学生实际生活接近的情境，给学生使用语言的机会。在此环节

，教师先行做好示范，并给学生充分的时间准备，组内讨论，最后分享春节计划。
