Unit 8. What color do you like ? 三年级的学生由于年龄小，又加上生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣，有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。根据学生的心理特点，在设计课堂教学活动时，我设计了一些小游戏、小组竞赛和角色扮演等活动，努力营造玩中学，学中玩的学习氛围。课堂上也尽量以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励学生开口说英语，特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦

1.能听懂、会说、认读并运用单词please,bike,boat,ship,train,plane。

2.能听懂、会读、会说本单元新语言Can I help you? A ball,please.及核心语言What color do you like ? I like orange.并能在实际情境中运用。

4.通过小组竞赛，掌握核心词汇和核心语言。

利用一个直接看图说单词的小游戏复习了上节课所学的单词，并吸引了学生的注意力，(Show the pictures of ball, car, robot, 为引出风筝做了铺垫。

T: Do you like kite?

Ss:Yes! T: What color is your kite? Ss: It’s yellow/red... T: My kite is red, too.I like red.What color do you like?

This class, let’s learn unit 8. 利用放风筝这一话题进行师生对话，从而自然地引出目标语言和课题What color do you like。既贴近生活，又简单有效。

Presentation Step 1: and practice

Practice the key sentences:

通过小组比赛完成接龙游戏，操练本节课的核心语，既调动了学生的积极性，又活跃了课堂气氛。

(1).(Show different cards of kites）Look at different kites ,two students ask and answer. (2).Play a chain game.(Group competition）

S1：What color do you like? S2: I like ... What color do you like ? S3: I like ... What color do you like ? S4: I like ... What color do you like? S5: I like ... What color do you like?

S6: i like ...

Step 2: Learn new words.

教师要T:I want to go to the shop to buy a kite.Do 教师创设情境：去商店买风筝，问学生you want to go with me ?

要不要一起去，但是要Ss:Yes! 想一起去，就要回答老T:But you must answer me five 师的五个问题，而这5questions,OK? 个问题藏在了5个不同颜色的气球之中。让Ss:OK! T:You can choose one .What color do you 学生自己选择一个气球，从而引出本节课的like? 核心词汇。每一个核心(Show five balloons,each balloon has 词汇的出示、活动都不一样，这也是这节课的one color、one question and one new 亮点之一。

利用一个小游戏引出单词bike，并以旧带新，引导学生通过字母的读音规律自主拼读单词，培养学生自主学习能力。

利用听声音引出单词train，利用拓展的句子让学生对train进行巩固操练。

(二)Learn train(green balloon): 1.Listen the sound of train. 2.Read group by group. 3.I can go _____ by train. (三)Learn plane(white balloon): 1.Guess a riddle: I’m not a bird, but I can fly

I can take you to other countries. 2.Boys read, girls read. 3.Complete the conversation:

A: What color do you like ?

B:I like ____. I like the ____plane.

利用猜谜语这个小活动引出单词plane，并让学生做对话，做到词不离句，告别单一的读。

(四)Learn boat(blue balloon):

1. Show the steps of folding a boat. Let students guess what am I folding? 2. Use boat and goat , find the pronunciation of oa. 3.Practice the conversation: A:What color is your boat? B: It’s _____. 利用叠纸船的步骤让学生猜我在叠什么，从而引出单词boat，与goat进行对比，找出oa字母组合的发音规律，为以后的单词拼写打下基础。

利用boat和ship的区别引出单词ship，并让学生找出带有字母组合sh的单词，比如sheep.short.fish...引导学生通过字母的读音规律自主拼读单词。

利用自编chant让学生在活动中自然地运用语言，巩固语言，让枯燥的学习过程变得有乐趣且有意义。

(五)Learn ship(orange balloon): 1.T:Look, what’s this?

Ss:It’s a boat.

T:What about this one?

Ss:It’s a ship. 2.T:Can you find other words with “sh”?

Ss: sheep/fish... 3.Make a chant: Ship,ship,I like the ship.

I like the orange ship. Step 2: Learn :The conversation of listen and say. 1.T: Now, we can go to the shop together.

First,let’s listen:What does she say.(Show the picture of saleswoman) Ss: Can I help you ? T:Yes,so clever. I want to buy a kite, so I say:A kite,please.Can you guess:what did she ask next? Ss:What color do you like?

学生完成了教师的五个问题之后，和教师一起去了商店，见到了售货员，让学生听售货员说什么，猜售货员说什么，自然而言地引出了本单元Listen and say部分的内容，操练几次后，回归课本，告诉学T:Very good!So I should say:I like green. 生Helen and her 2.Practice conversation. mom are in the shop，3.T:Helen and her mom are in the shop.too. too. 让学生听录音回目的是让学生
