Lesson 4 Where do you live？

一、教学目标(Objectives)：

1. Make sure the students know the meaning of the following words and use them correctly.

（确保学生掌握以下9个生词，能就话题进行简单口头运用）

live, China, Beijing, the UK, London, Russia, Moscow, France, Paris.

2 . To use the typical sentences to express.（学习使用本课重点句型表达）

--Where do you come from? --I come from China.

--Where do you live?

--I live in Beijing. 二、教学重难点（Key Points)：

1.词汇的听说读写

2.理解一般现在时（包括第三人称单数）的特殊疑问句

3.Where分别对“来自某地”和“居住地”提问的句型。了解其中的差异(Where→China; Where→in Beijing)，根据具体情境，学会交流对话。

Step 1.Warm-up and leading-in（热身/课程导入）

We come from different cities, but now we live in Luoyang. Do you like luoyang ?

Do you know where Beijing is?

Do you know where... is?

Step 2. Presentation(呈现新课）

Asking about the places in the pictures.

同学们根据课件上呈现的图画，复习集中识词时学的本课生词。

--Where does he live?

--He lives in London.

--Where does she live?

--She lives in Moscow.

--Does he live in Beijing?

--Yes, he does.

--Does she live in Paris?

--Yes, she does.

【设计意图】让学生根据图片学习，缓解疲劳，扩大视野，激发兴趣

Step 3. Let’s talk :

1.情景呈现：让学生初步感知对话内容。

2.听录音，学生进一步熟悉对话，并找出问题的答案

--Where does the man live? --Where does Ms Green come from? --Where does Ms Green live?

3.巩固训练：先分角色熟悉对话，然后小组内互换角色进行对话。

【设计意图】情景式学习有助于迅速感知话题重点。
