Lesson5 What do you do? 一、教材内容:

科普版小学英语五年级下册第五课《What do you do?》Let’s learn部分。

二、教材分析:

本课将复习以前学过的职业名词teacher,worker,

cook,doctor,nurse,driver,policeman并引出新的职业名词postman以及地点名词factory, hospital, post office,并在此基础上学会如何询问对方的职业及工作地点,通过这节课的学习进一步提高用英语进行交际的能力。

三、学情分析:

根据学生已有的认知基础和小学英语的总体目标,确立本课能听说读写有关职业及工作地点的单词,能理解和掌握本课重点句型,并能用来进行对话。

四、教学目标:

1、知识目标:

能听说读写单词postman,factory, hospital, post office。

能理解和掌握本课重点句型并能用来进行会话。

2、能力目标:

能运用所学知识进行简单的日常交流。 能在相关的语境中进行交际。 会运用这些语句进行真实交流和交际。

3、情感目标:

使学生体验学习,参与合作,能团结同学,能与好朋友交流,询问他人的职业,鼓励学生为自己未来理想工作而努力学习。

4、创新目标:

在认知和技能掌握的基础上,发挥学生的想象力能与对方面对面交流。

五、教学重、难点:

理解掌握词汇

postman,post office,hospital,factory。

理解并掌握询问对方的职业What do you do? 及其答语I am a… .询问对方的工作地点Where do you work ?

及其答语I work in a …

六、教法:

1.启发式教学 通过游戏和活动所在教学过程中启发引导学生思维,模仿,练习反应速度,培养不同层次的学生大胆用英语交际。

2.利用小组活动培养组员之间的团结协作能力。

3.通过采访同学,鼓励学生为自己未来理想工作而努力学习。

八、Teaching procedure:

Step 1:

(1)Greetings. (2)warm-up: Boys and girls,Are you fell tird? Let’s play a game,ok? Please stand up,follow me:

Shake shake shake up, Shake shake shake down, Shake shake shake your hands, Shake shake shake your feet. (设计意图:通过简单的韵律操,活跃了课堂气氛,使学生能够更好地集中精力进行下面的学习)

Step 2:Revision:( 复习旧知,引入新课) T: Boys and girls,think about a queisio:How many jobs do you know? S:

teacher,worker,

cook,doctor,nurse,driver,

policeman…

Step 3:Presentation(创设情境,传授新课) (1)T: Boys and girls, Let’s play a game,ok? Please guess,Who is he?(展示课件,蒙脸猜职业游戏) S:worker/ teacher /doctor/postman/ (设计意图:通过游戏引入本课单词,激发了学生的兴趣)

教师领读单词,学生集体读,开火车读,确保学生能够熟练掌握单词。

(2)T: If you want to know people’s job,what should we say? S;What do you do? T:Yes,so clever!this is our topic today,show me your fingers,Let’s write it down.(教师板书课题) (3)Learn the sentences:

T:What do you do?(教师手持“工人”图片)

S:I am a worker (依次类推,引出teacher、

doctor 、postman)

T: Let’s make sentences according to my pictures.

(First, boys ask, girls answer. Second, girls ask, boys

answer. At last, ask and answer together.) (4)T:

Boys and girls,look at the blackbold,think about a question:Where can wen find? Please please look here.

Draw pictures, learn the new words: “factory, hospital, post office”. Picture1: This is a factory.

Picture2: This is a school. Picture3: This is a hospital.

Picture4: This is a post office.

(利用简笔画,引出school, 以及新授词factory, hospital, post office。) (5) Learn the sentences: T: Boys and girls,

please look here. Where do you work? S: I work in a factory (依次代入school. hospital. post office 进行练习。

(First, boys ask, girls answer. Second, girls ask, boys answer. At last, ask and answer together.) (设计意图:利用简笔画引出新词,再引出新句型,教师领读,小组互读,同桌互读,学生能够熟练掌握)

(6)Practise all the sentences:(展示课件) ----What do you do?

Step 5:

Ending: Boys and girls,everyone has own dream,what’s your dream?when you grow up what will you do?

Now it’s 2030,everyone has own job,you meet your friends.talk about your jobs with your friends.you can ask like this: ----What do you do?

Then,take out a piece of paper,write down yous friend job,andthen,report it. T:There are so many jobs in the world,please come

on,your dream will come true. (设计意图:乘坐时光机来到2030年,同学们都有了自己的工作,遇见了老朋友,并且制作名片互相分享,真正做到了对今天所学内容的学以致用,并且鼓励学生好好学习,梦想都会实现的。
