Teaching process: Step1 .Warming up

T：Hi, boys and girls, Nice to meet you today.

Ss: Hi, teacher, Nice to meet you, too. （设计意图：课前进行对话，引导学生进入上课状态。）

Step2: Lead in T: I know you are very clever. So do you like playing the guessing game?

Ss: Yes, we do. T: Ok, listen carefully.

Teacher show the picture of mother giraffe and baby giraffe to make students know the difference of tall and short clearly. ①. Teacher read first, students read second. ②. Students try to read: ask some students to read; read in different roles; read one by one; finally, read together. ③. Invite students to do the action of tall and short. 3.

Teaching the word: fat and thin. Teacher show the picture of fat monkey and thin monkey to make students distinguish the difference between fat and thin. ①. Teacher read first, students read second. ②. Teaching the pronunciation: fat and thin. ③. Invite students to do the action of fat and thin. 4.

Let’s do

Let students do the action follow the radio, and then invite someone to do by themselves. （设计意图：通过做动作，不仅能加深学生对单词掌握的程度，而且能过活跃学习氛围，增加学生的兴趣。）. 5.

Exercises
