学情分析:

1. 学生在上节课已经学习过

fun, interesting, difficult,boring等词汇，并且初步掌握询问他人favorite subject的方法，进一步学习相对容易。

2. 学生对事物充满好奇心，但注意力容易分散。因此，我通过设计各种活动，开展比赛，让学生自主展示等方式调动学生的学习积极性。

教学重难点: 1.The usage of adjective words.

2.Listening practice and talk about favorite subject.

教学过程:

导入：Step1

Greeting and leading in

1. Greeting all students using the sentences they have learned last class.

2. Watch the video and ask questions.

Q1: How many days are there in a week?

Q2: Which day is the first day of a week?

Step2

Competition

1. Divide all students into five groups. And the group 1 and 2 are group A; group 3,4 and 5 are group B. After class , we will see which group is better.

2. The teacher shows some Chinese cards, and the students speak English in group quickly and loudly. If your group do well, you will get one point.

Step3

Learn some adjective words

1. Show students some pictures. Ask them the guess the words and its meanings.

2. Read these words together.

3. Ask some little teachers to teach the words in order to arouse students’

interest.

Step 4

Games---Pass the Ball

1. Tell students the rules of this game: If you have the ball, you read a word loudly and tell us the meaning of this word. Then pass the ball to another student and he(she) will read the next word.

2. Give student an example and start from the teacher.

Practice 1a

1. Match the words on the left wit their opposites on the right.

2.Give student one minute to finish this exercise.

3. Ask some students to check the answers.

Step6

Pair work

1. Ask students work in pairs. Use the adjective words to express your opinions on the subjects.

2. Give them several minutes and the teacher walks around the classroom. Give the

help if necessary.

3. Ask some pairs to present in the front of the classroom.

Step7

Listening practice(1b and 1c)

1. Listen and check the words you hear in 1a.

2. Ask some student to check the answers.

3. Listen again. Circle the classes Davis talks about on this schedule.

4. Ask some students to check the answers.

5. Listen and repeat. The teacher plays the recording the third time and the students read the sentences one by one.

Step8 Pair work(1d)

1. Group A talks about David’s

favorite subject. Group B talks about your favorite subject.

2. Give students several minutes to discuss with their partners. The teacher walks around the classroom and give them some help if necessary.

3. Ask some student to talk in the front of the classroom.

Step9 Review and homework

1. A little teacher leads all student to read these words which we have learned.

2. Translate the sentences and check the answers.

3. Read some famous saying together to develop their love for studying.

4. See which group is better. And tell students their homework.
