BOOK ONE MODULE ONE “My First Day at Senior High”教学设计

一．教材依据

该节内容来源于高一英语必修1 (外研版) Module one____My First Day at Senior High 其中的Period two___READING AND VOCABULARY。

二．设计思路

1、指导思想

新课标提出，英语是学习科学文化知识，获取世界各方面信息和进行国际交流的重要工具。新课标还要求发展听、说、读、写的基本技能，提高初步运用英语进行交际的能力，但任何能力的提高都是建立在词汇和阅读的基础上。因此，我在本课时尤以引出与新学校，新老师，新同学，新学期有关的词汇和短语为主，鼓励学生相互讨论，交流自己理想中的高中生活是什么样子的。同时让大家通过快速阅读了解文章中Li Kang的高中生活的第一天，从而达到学生对词汇的熟悉巩固和提炼中心大意这一能力的要求。

2、设计理念

根据STS（Science，Technology and Society科学、技术和社会）的教学理念，本课我将结合活动教学法和任务型教学法，在教学中将学生分成四人一组的学习小组。让学生们在小组中通过合作和探究来完成他们的任务。通过分组探究达到让学生很好掌握知识的目的，也能进一步提高学生的英语学科素养和兴趣，这也是本模块基本理念的重要体现。

3、教材分析

本课是高一英语第1模块的第二课时，介绍一位高中新生第一天到校观察和接触到的人和事物以及个人的感受，内容紧密结合学生的现实生活。在教学中可以根据学校，班级的情况，布置学生做自我介绍，做一个小册子，介绍自己的学校。我在教学中将淡化语言点和语法知识的简单传授，采用任务型教学法和小组合作探究学习法，从而扩大课堂的语料输入量及学生的语言输出量。

4、学情分析

鉴于本班同学是刚入高一的学生，大多数的同学基础较差，且掌握的词汇较少，他们还没有掌握略读、跳读等一定的阅读技巧以及确定主题句、预测等阅读技能，因此帮助他们形成初步的阅读策略、认识一定的阅读方法是这堂课的重点。这个班大部分学生的基础知识较为薄弱，他们在听力口语方面的水平各有差异，某种程度上英语交际能力显得较弱；平时学生主动学习的动力不够，然而他们学

习比较认真，好胜心强，渴望在班集体里得到他人的承认，很在乎别人对他们的评价；部分学生的基础较好，思维比较活跃，能主动配合老师，愿意开口讲。他们有着初中生的纯真可爱也有着高中生独立、爱表现自我的特点。只有通过设置使他们感兴趣的活动，因材施教，才让他们投入到课堂活动中来。因此我在备课时选举了一些浅显易懂且与高中日常生活息息相关的词汇和短语，力求学生浅显易懂。

三．教学目标及要求

1、知识与技能

四、教学重点

本堂课的教学重点是针对学生在高中的第一堂阅读课对阅读方法（skimming &scanning）的认识、了解，掌握并灵活运用词汇以及mind-mapping学习策略的进一步运用。

五．教学难点

难点是对阅读方法和阅读技能（如预测）的在阅读过程中的正确运用，及对课文大意的总结概括能力。

六．教学准备

七．教学过程（Teaching procedures ）

Step 1

Lead in the study of the text by carrying out the following activities: 1. What is your first impression of the new school? What about your teachers? (Ask students to speak out as many as they can)

Prediction （对课文内容的预测）

According to the title of the text “My First Day at Senior High”, have Ss predict what the text talks about, and check the answer after fast reading.

设计意图：根据标题培养学生阅读微技能即对文章内容的预测。通过这一活动帮助学生利用已经掌握的知识和手段，预先推知和判断文章的内容。然后通过阅读找出作者所写的内容，由学生自己思考、检查与对比，看文章的内容与学生所给出的之间的异同点，并分析其原因。这样既可促进学生的想象，也可促进学生的阅读。

设计意图：任务型和活动型教学法

任务1：

先独自快速限时(3minutes)阅读，把阅读课文作为整体来处理，检查学生对课文中的事实的表层理解，让学生对文章有一个了解。然后通过小组活动，交流合作。本环节难度不高，即便学困生也能在其小组成员的帮助下完成此任务。成功给人以最大的满足，产生自豪感，增强学习毅力。更重要的是总结出他们在阅读中所用的方法——略读（skimming to get general ideas）

Summary (by showing this passage on the PPT) I’m Li Kang, a Senior High student coming from Shijiazhuang, the capital of __Heibei Province_. Now I’m writing down my thoughts about the first day at Senior High school. In my new school, the teachers are enthusiastic and friendly and the classrooms are __amazing

special. In the first class, we introduced ourselves to each other. Everyone was very friendly though some of them were embarrassed at first. Then we followed Ms. Shen’s instructions and worked by ourselves. In a word, I like her _attitude very much, and the other student’s behavior shows that they also like her.

There are sixty-five students in my class---more than my __previous class in Junior High, and everyone is hard- working . 设计意图：任务2 让学生在了解每一段意之后自己尝试给这篇文章进行一个简短的总结和概括，锻炼了学生提炼信息和筛选信息的能力。

本课堂的安排是对学生的阅读能力加以训练，引导其不要对文章进行肢解，逐字逐句的讲解翻译。采用的教学策略，多媒体手段的运用，以及问题情景的创设等教学环节都较为成功。以下是还需要改进的地方：

将语法渗透在阅读的过程中，学生通过阅读能识别含有本单元的语法的句子，但并不能灵活运用，所以我将在专门的语法讲解中展示给学生一些简单的句子，并让他们在文章中找到一些相似的句子，从而找出相应的语法规则，再反复练习进而巩固提高。
