一.教学背景分析

【教材内容及分析】

本节课所教授的是福建教育出版社小学英语第四册Story Time部分，讲的是猴子和鳄鱼的故事。多数同学都看过这个故事的中文版，这就为学生的语言学习提供了良好的背景知识。

【学生情况分析】

本课的教学对象是四年级的学生，他们学习英语已经有一年多的时间，掌握了一定的英语词汇，具有一定的英语学习的积极性与主动性，求知欲增强。因此，在新知识传授的同时，我尽可能的为学生创造良好的语言环境，让学生在学习中积极参与、大胆发言，从而形成积极的情感态度。

二.教学目标分析

1. Aims on knowledge （1）Learn to say the words: near, river, crocodile, hungry, catch, peach, reach, sit, back, kill，

（2）Learn to use the sentences: He can’t catch the monkeys. We can’t reach the peaches. We can’t swim. You can sit on my back. I can take you there. That’s a good idea. He’ll kill you. 2. Aims on abilities （1）To help Ss read the story by using some learning strategies. （2）To help Ss understand the story. (3) To help Ss retell and act out the story. 3. 三．教学重点，难点分析

Key points: 1.To help Ss listen and read the sentences：

Step 1.Warming up 1.

Sing a song--Three Little Monkeys Step 2. Pre-reading 1. Look at the pictures and say --- 课件依次出示树、河流、猴子和鳄鱼图片，引导学生说单词：a tree / a river / three monkeys / a crocodile ；句子：Three monkeys are playing on the tree. / A crocodile is looking at them. 2. Present the title: The Monkeys and the Crocodile 3. Guess --- 引导学生做读前猜测。

【设计意图：利用了学生们的猎奇心理，在导入环节中通过看图说词的形式勾画出了前两副图画的内容，有效缩减阅读篇幅，并通过读前猜测，激发学生的阅读兴趣。】

Step 2.While-reading （一）First reading 1. (1)Q1：Can the crocodile catch the monkeys? Q2：What do the monkeys want? Can they get them?

(2) Have Ss watch video. (3) Teach: catch / peach / reach 2. 模仿鳄鱼和猴子的口吻读句子：1. He can’t catch the monkeys.2. We can’t reach them, dear. We can’t swim.

【设计意图：提问环节使学生初步感知文章主要矛盾，模仿结合板书帮助学生增强矛盾意识。】

(二) Second reading 1. Q1: Can the crocodile help the monkeys? How ? Q2: Do the monkeys agree with him? 2. listen and find. 3.Teach:sit / back / there 4.模仿角色读句子：(1)You can sit on back. I can take you there.(2) That’s a good idea. No, thank you. 5. 思考：Do you think it’s a good idea? 6.Teach: He’ll kill you. Then you’ll be his lunch. 【设计意图：提问环节帮助学生了解矛盾的解决方法，思考环节让学生运用判断能力进行矛盾分析，最终理解文章大意。】
