Lesson 6 Little Zeke 一、教学分析

本节课的教学内容为冀教版小学英语四年级下册第一单元的第六课。在本单元，学生已学习更多的标准用语和常用的教室物品词汇，而本课是一节故事课，是对本单元教学内容的运用和拓展。本课故事主要围绕 Little Zeke 逐渐认识新朋友展开，容量适中，难度适宜，易于学生理解。

二、学情分析

在学习本节课内容之前，学生已经学过一些教室用品的词汇，还学过一些表示方位的介词。此外，他们还掌握了介绍朋友的基本句型，这些知识都为学生理解本课故事奠定了基础。

三、教学目标

1.语言能力目标

（1）学生能够利用上下文、插图以及已有的知识理解故事内容，把握细节信息。

（2）学生能在图片或教师帮助下表演故事。

（1）帮助学生形成阅读策略并培养学生的阅读意识。

（2）通过共同完成故事表演的任务，发展小组合作的基本学习策略。

T: Here’s a boy in the story. Who is he?

Ss:Zeke.

T:His name is Zeke. Is he big?

Ss: No, he is very little.

T: So we call him Little Zeke. What happened with Little Zeke？Let’s see it together. b)

T: What can you see in this picture? Ss:Little Zeke/Emma/chair/desk. T: Where is Little Zeke? Ss:He is on Emma’s hand. T: Is Emma Little Zeke’s sister/mum/friend? Let’s see the story again.(播放1-3图的动画) T：They are_____.（引导学生们说出friends）

T:Why he hides in Emma’s desk? Ss:He is very little./He has only one friend,Emma. T: We know Emma has many friends. But Little Zeke has only one friend-Emma.So he hides in her desk. 4.

What does Little Zeke do? Ss: He helps Emma. He puts an apple on the teacher’s desk. PPT出示图4，让学生思考如果他是Emma和Little Zeke，他会说些什么。同桌之间练习（pairwork）

两三组学生展示后，教师总结，写板书helps Emma PPT出示图5.T: What can you see in this picture?
