《Lesson 10 Rain and Sun》Teaching Plan 阳原县第三实验小学胡晓辉Teaching Aims:

(2)Students can sing “The Month Song”

2. Ability objects:

By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to use English to express the natural phenomenon and sing “The Month Song”

Arouse their interests in learning English and love the different weather and nature.

Key points: Students can master the words and the sentences.

Difficult points: students can use English to express their ideas. Teaching tools:PPT, vocabulary cards and some pictures.

Teaching Procedures:

Step 1.Class Opening:

1. Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you, today?

S: Fine, thanks.

2. Lesson Hook:

T: Let’s enjoy a song, and pay attention to the blue and red words. Who can read the blue words on ppt? Ss: January…

T: We have been friends with these blue words in Lesson 7, do you want to make friends with these red words?

S: Yes.

T: They are in Lesson 10 Rain and Sun? Now let me introduce them to you. 【设计意图:通过本课要学习的歌曲歌词,既复习前边所学月份的单词又引出新课,让学生对今天的内容有大致的了解】

Step 2.New Concepts:

1. What is it?

(1)Teaching new words:

Use the PPT to show the new words. Teach the new words and letter sounds. Then use the vocabulary cards to practice reading the new words in different ways. (讲解单词的过程中问问学生对这些自然现象的喜好,并描述自然现象的特点。)

(2)Read the new words again.

(3)Play a game: divide the students into two teams. Show the game rule to the students by ppt.The winner can get a star for his or her team.

(4)Listen to the tape and finish the sentences and read after the tape.

(5)Let the students say some sentences about the pictures.

【设计意图:通过游戏来巩固新单词可以引起学生很大兴趣,再加上运用图片和词汇卡片新授词汇,直观易懂,朗读句子加强句子的记忆,让学生自己说句子,考查学生是否能拓展课本以外的句子,培养学生独立思考独立表达的能力。】

2. Let’s sing

T: Now we are friends with the blue and red words, let’s sing a song with them.

Play the flash in part 2.And ask the students to follow it to sing times and times.
