How are you?的句型是U3重点学习的句型，再这里让学生们提前感知一下，所以在这里只是稍微提一下即可。

由彩虹引出这首歌，在说彩虹的颜色时这首歌的歌词也就自然而然出现了。

这个故事的新知识点可以提前先教，也可以一边Step 1: Warm-up 1. T: Good morning! / Good afternoon!/What’s your name?/ Nice to meet you! Ss: Good morning! / … .

2. T: How are you?

(T help Ss) Ss: Fine, thank you.

3. Work in pairs.

S1: How are you?

S2: Fine, thank you. Step 2: Presentation (Present the colour song) 1. T: Look! Wow，so many colours! What’s this? Ss: It’s a ….

T: It’s a rainbow.

Ss learn the word “rainbow”.

2. T: Look at the rainbow, what colour can you see?

Ss: I see … .

T: We can see many colours. Red, yellow, pink… Look, it’s a song. Let’s listen to the song.

Ss: Listen to the song and try to follow it. (Present the story time) 3. T: Look! Wow! Flowers!

Ss try to say the sentences! 4. (Pressent many pictures of flowers) T: Look! What colour is it?

Ss: It’s red.

T: It’s a red/… flower.

5. T: Look at the picture. Who are they? Ss: Zoom and Zip. T presents the picture of the story. Ss try to act it out.

Zip: Good morning, Zoom. Zoom: Good morning, Zip. How are you? Zip: Fine, thank you. 6. T: Now, let’s watch the flash of the whole story.

Ss watch it together. T: Look at the picture 6. What’s the meaning?

Now，let’s follow the flash. Then try to act it out. 8. Pair works. Ss act the story in pairs. Step3：Consolidation 1. Find and say. 2. Let’s check.

3. Match and colour. 4. T and Ss do the exercises in the workbook together. 5. Homework a. read the story three times b. act the story. 讲故事一边教新知识点，根据教师和学生的实际情况决定。这里让学生先演绎第1幅图，让学生循序渐进的学习，降低接下来表演整个故事的难度。

最后一幅图虽然Zoom和Zip的语言都很简洁，但是学生都能理解，有时思想教育不需要说的太多，学生可能印象会更深刻。

P19-20的练习，教师可以和学生边做边讲解来完成。
