(一)认知目标:

1.学会说美国著名城市New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C

2.用east, west,north,south来描述事物的位置.

学会新单词:best , north, south ,rest, have a rest, speak,country, capital, maybe

(二)语言技能目标:

培养学生的交际能力和创造能力,发展学生的个性;拓宽学生的知识面,提高综合素质. 掌握句型: Where is New York? It's in the east

(三)情感目标:

通过对本课的学习,让学生了解有关美国的一些知识,培养他们跨文化意识和国际视野。通过引导学生参与游戏、竞争等丰富多彩的教学活动,激发了学生的学习兴趣和积极思维的能力.

(一)、Warm-up

1、Greeting

2、Sing a song.(Children fron China are Chinese.Children from America are American.Chinese,American,we all have fun.Children of the world are all like one.)

(二)、New Teaching

1、T: We are Chinese. We are from China. China is our country. (讲授新单词,操练)

T: (出示世界地图)Do you know where China is? Can you find it? What do we speak|?

S:We speak Chinese.(操练新单词和ea发音,ea/e/ /i:/ei//ie/) sp ea k /i:/------pl ea se t ea m ea st-----great /idea/bread/

T:(出示中国地图)What’s the city of China?

Ss: Beijing.

T: Beiing is the capital of china.(讲授新单词capital)

Where is Beijing|? (出示坐标图东南西北,讲授上北下南north/south/west/east)

S: It’s in the north of China.(讲授短语in the north of )

T:China has many provinces. Can you fine our province Liaoning? (出示辽宁在中国地图中的区域

)Where is Liaoning Province?

Ss: It’s in the north of China.

T: (出示辽宁地图)What’s the capital city of Liaoning? Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning. (讲授capital ity)

S: Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning.

T: Can you find our city? Benxi City? Where is it?|

S: It’s in the east of Liaoning.(操练in the east of)

T: There are many provinces in China. There are many big cities in China. Our city is a small city. But it is beautiful. Do you like living here|? S:Yes, I do. I love Benxi.

Let’s watch the movie.(播放唐人街探案2). There are three places in the movie. After seeing the film. Tell me the name of the place.ok?

S: OK.

T; The film is made in New York.The first place is..

S:Madison Street.

T: This street is famous . There are big shops here. The rich people in New York live here. It’s very famous for ads.(广告)。The second place? S: New York Public library.

T: This library is big. It is a library. But people usually call it a museum. The third place?

S: New York Central Station.

T: It is the largest station in the world. That’s all about New York. And what’s this city?(洛杉矶板块闪动)

S:Los Angeles.

T:Where is it?

S:It is in the west of the US.

T:Los Angeles is the second largest city in the US.It is famous for the sunny weather,Disneyland ,beautifl beaches and holywood.
