五、教学步骤：

I. Greeting and warming up.(Before the class.) T greets Ss. Ss sing a song with the video. II. Leading in. 1. Show Ss an old photo. T, ‘What can you see?”

2. Show more old photos of T and tell them about the photos briefly. 3. Lead to the text on P44, ‘Amy is showing Lingling some old photos of her.”

III. Learning the text.

1. Listen & answer. (1) Does Amy often play with dolls? (2) Does Amy like reading books? (3) Does Amy often clean her room? (4) Does Lingling often clean her room? (5) Does Amy often take photos? 2. Listen and read. (1) Ss listen to the audio and read after it sentence by sentence. (2) Ss read the text together. (3) Ss role-play. IV. Learning sentences. 1.

Lead in by talking about how people share photos these days ——

by using cell phones. Show a photo from Wechat Moments.

Talk about the photo using the present continuous, ‘Look at the photo. We are taking a photo.’ Let Ss repeat. 3.

Show four more photos to introduce the sentence structures ‘Look at the photo. Sb. is doing sth.’ Summarize the structure. 4.

Show a photo and describe it with present continuous. Then show some covered photos, let Ss choose and describe them individually first and then together.

Show comments below the photos in Step 2 &3 to introduce the question, ‘Do you often do sth.?’ and its various answers. Let Ss read the sentences. 6.

Practice with more photos. Let S.a. to raise the question by looking at the photos and choose another S.b. to answer. And then S.b. ask and choose S.c. to

answer. And so on.

Summarize the way to talk about a photo and to ask for some more information from the photo.
