Step1

Warm –up 1.Greetings.

2.Revision. (1) Invite two pairs to role-play it. Check the progress and correct pronunciation mistakes if any. (2)Review some words and phrases learned in the last lesson. Step2 Presentation

1.Grammar Focus.

(1)Finish the sentences using target language. (2)Ask students to read the sentences in the box in pairs. Then make conversations using the target language to talk about the things students have brought in the classroom. Sample conversation: S1:How much is this map? S2:It’s five yuan. S1:How much are these books? S2:They’re 200yuan. Leave students five minutes to do it. As they work ,move around the room, checking progress and offering help as needed. 2. Activity3a First , read through the words in the three boxes and look at the sentence in the chart so that you can know how to do this activity. Second ,make sentences using these given words .Do it individually. At the same time ,ask several students to write down sentences on the blackboard. Leave students enough time to do this task. Ask them to pay attention to the single form and plural form of those nouns.

Finally ,check the answers, and correct mistakes if any. Step3 Practice Activity3b Look at the pictures and T asks what you can see in these pictures. Ss answer: we can see some clothing with the tags of price. Next,ask students to finish 3b individually. Finally,check the answers together. Ask students to practice asking and answering the questions in pairs. Step4 Consolidation Activity3c

Ask students to read through the instruction of 3c so that they can know how to do this activity. Then put students into pairs to do this task. StudentA

looks at the pictures and tries to memorise the prices .Student B asks the prices .If StudentA answers right, Student B goes on asking .If Student A fails answering the prices, they may change the roles. Leave students enough time to do this activity. As they work ,move around the room, checking progress. Finally, do some practice.

Step5 Summary In this period, we’ve further learnt how to talk about prices through some writing and speaking practice. And we’ve also practiced our memory through a memory game . Step6 Homework 1. 复习记忆Grammar Focus部分的内容。
