I. Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims: review some words about clothes and color; meanwhile, learn some phrases and useful expressions. 2. Ability aims: on the one hand, learn to ask about prices and talk about clothing ; on the other hand, train the students’

abilities of listening, speaking and reading; improve the students’

abilities of writing by writing practice; meanwhile, summarize and use some grammar points correctly. ①--- How much is...? --- It’s...②--- How much are...? --- They’re... 3. Moral aims: learn to offer help and thank someone; learn to shop in English; make the students be interested in studying English ; encourage the students to help each other. II.Teaching key points:

summarize some sentence patterns about asking about and answering

prices; learn to ask about prices of clothes in different colors; grasp and use words, phrases and sentence patterns correctly; improve the students’

abilities of writing by writing practice. III.Teaching difficult points:be able to ask about prices of clothes in different colors according to the situations; learn to summarize grammar points; learn how to get the useful information from chart; meanwhile, comprehend and use the words, phrases and useful expressions. IV.Analysis of studying:

the language goals are asking about prices, talking about clothing, offering help and thanking someone; in this unit, students will talk about prices and answer prices; all these are close to their daily life and they can help the students to understand language better; I will lead the students to learn words, phrases and some useful sentence patterns by using repeating and cooperating strategies; cultivate students’

spirit of cooperation by working in groups; meanwhile, make the students learn to thank someone; many students are weak in English, they are afraid to speak English, so I’ll make the students work in groups to find the answers and encourage them to speak English; then make the students take an interest in studying English.
