一、教学目标

1、知识目标

使学生能理解和正确使用本课中的下列词汇：free, cool, useful, easy, difficult, boring, fun, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday. 2、能力目标

学生能够询问喜欢的学科并给出理由，并且能够说出一周的课程安排。

3、情感态度价值观

通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科以及课程安排，可以增进同学之间的了解和友情，培养学生珍惜时间，热爱学习的良好习惯。

二、教学重点

1）学习表示星期的名词；

2）掌握常见的描述性形容词；

3）能谈论他人所喜欢的科目及原因，询问课程的时间安排。

谈论他人所喜欢的科目及原因，询问课程的时间安排，能合理安排

自己的作息时间。

教学进程

Step 1 Leading-in 1. Before the class, play a short chant of a week to the students, and let them chant together. Step 2 Presentation 1.

Present the days in a week, teach students Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Ss read after the teacher and remember the days in a week. 2.

Brainstorm “What subjects do we have in a week?”

Let Ss speak out the subjects together. 3.

Guessing game Show some pictures of subjects and let Ss guess what subjects are they. Then use some adjective words to describe the subjects. Present some new adjective: cool, interesting, easy, difficult, free, boring. Step 3 Before-listening 1)Let Ss open the textbook and turn to page 52. 2)Work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposite on the right. Let three Ss share the answers in the class, then

check the answers. 3)Read the words in 1a together. Step 4 First-listening 1)

Listen to the recording and check(√)the words you hear in 1a. (Play the recording for the first time, Ss only listen. Play the recording again, Ss listen and check(√) the words in 1a) 2)

Check the answer with the Ss. Step 5 Second-listening 1) Read through the schedule. 2) listening to the tape and circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. (Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the classes David talks about, then play again the recording again for the Ss to check the answer.) Step 6 Pair work 1) Let Ss talk about David’s favorite subjects in pairs. Find out the answers of the questions: -What’s David’s favorite subject? -Why does he like ________? -When is the class? 2) Ask some Ss to give theirs answers.

Step 7 Group work Work in groups, discuss their favorite subjects. Then ask some groups to share their likes. (Ss can use the sentence patterns and the adjective words to talk about their favorite subjects.) Step 8 Exercise Let’s be a doctor Let Ss correct four sentences. 1)
