I.The analysis of teaching material It’s the listening and speaking lesson, and the topic is talking about favorite subjects by using what ,when and why. It’s closely to students’ daily life, so it is not difficult to raise their learning interest. Teaching aims 1.Knowledge aim By the end of the class, Ss will be master the key words and expressions such as Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, free, cool and sentences: When is the class? Why do you like...? 2.

Ability aim: To train Ss’ listening and speaking abilities. 3.

Emotional aim Treasure(珍惜) your time every day and study all the subjects hard. Key and difficult points Talk about favorite subject by using what/when/why questions and the description words. Teaching procedures:

Step1. Lead in I use two questions to talk with them to lead into the topic,then explain the evaluation in this class. Purpose: A quick lead in can raise Ss’ interest in learning.

Step2.Presentation Talk about days in a week, their favorite subjects by using: What's your favorite subject？

Why？

My favorite subject is______,because it's______. When is the class?/When do you have+科目？

It's/on___/every day./I have____on___/every day. Purpose:Free talk is a natural way to present the key words and drills. Step3. Game time--word jumping Purpose: Playing a game is a good way to make Ss more active and confident in class,and it is also important to consolidate the new words. Step4. Listening 1.
