本单元的话题是“日常交际用语”，话题功能是在一天中的不同时刻，能运用打招呼用语谈论并进行问答。通过本节课的听说练习，让学生了解谈论交际用语的句型及字母的发音不同。

七年级学生对英语的学习充满好奇心并希望得到老师的肯定，因此在教学活动中尽量利用学生感兴趣的图片让学生都参与到活动中来，有更多的机会说英语，通过学生们之间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，是他们体验到成功的喜悦，使各层次的学生都有所收获。
