《Can I Join You?》教学设计
教材分析
1. 教材地位及作用
本节课是小学EEC英语六年级下册第二单元
“Can I JoinYou?”的第一课时。以儿童生活为主线,全称多方面的展现了英语国家语言文化风貌。使学生在感受和廖家异国的同时,较深对英语语言的了解和使用,增进对本国文化的热爱。课文内容紧紧围绕xiaoxiao和jim为参加校园歌手演唱会做练习,并邀请qiaoqaio参加为主线开展故事情节,安排了校园生活的真实场景,具有较强时代性,同时,故事中渗透了以人为本的教育,致力于孩子的综合能力全面发展。
2. 教学目标
知识目标:
1学习现在进行时态的基本表达法。
2 学习句型“without a+名词,you can not make a+形容词+名词”
能力目标
培养学生的自主学习,协作学习能力和语言表达能力。能够运用恰当的学习策略进行自主学习并能够在合作中达到语言用于交流的目的,
情感目标
情景教学激发学生的学习热情,培养学生学习兴趣,增强学生学习的自信心。培养学生在生活中应用英语的意识。
3. 教学重点、难点
根据本节课的教学内容和学生对知识的理解程度,结合本课的教学目标与学习目标,确定本节课的重点是学生能够听懂、会说并理解每一句话的语意。教学难点是在课堂的有限时间内,学生能够准确的记忆、流利的表达并活学活用所学的知识,完成教师所设计的各种梯度的练习题。
学情分析
六年级的学生们具有积极的学习兴趣,并掌握了一定的学习策略,有较好的听、说、读、写、译的能力。学生们根据所掌握的拼读规则,能够很轻松的掌握本节课的单词。并能够在教师所设计的教学情境中理解、体悟语意。而且他们喜欢竞争,喜欢挑战的天性,又为本节课的层次性的练习题的完成做好了准备。只有部分学生在反意疑问句的难度最高级的练习部分会有一些困难,但在优秀学生的提前完成下,他们也会有很好的感悟。
教学策略
依据上述目标,本节课将通过听说法、TPR教学法、情境法、表演法、小组合作法,训练学生们的听、说、读、写、译的技能,
并根据下要保底,上不封顶的原则,利用POWERPOINT的辅助,设计有层次的练习题,激发学生们的参与意识和竞争意识,发挥他们的主体性、主观能动性,完成各部分的教学内容,使学生们体验到学习本身是一件有意义的事情,探究是快乐的,与人合作,交流是有必要的,而成功是大家可以期待的。同时完成本节课在情感上对学生的目标要求。
教学过程
一 Warm-up: (A free talk)
1.A free talk between the teacher and the students. T: Hello, boys and girls.Let’s ing a song,OK.<
S1: It’s a guitar.(PPT呈现) T: who is the best guitar player? S2: Jenny is a good at playing the guitar . T: What are those? S3: They’re drums. (PPT呈现)
T:. Jim. What’s he good at doing?
S4: He is good at playing the drums. T: (Point to Jenny and Jim)
Ss: Jenny is good at playing at guitar and Jim is good at playing the drums.
T: Who’s the best singer?
Ss: It’s Xiaoxiao.
T: That’s true. (Stick on the board) Now who’s he?
S5: It’s Qiaoqiao.
T: Can he participate in the talent show? S6: No, because he’s too young.
T: Yes. But maybe something is changing. Today we’ll continue to learn Lesson 2, Can I Join You? Now look at the words. 二. New lesson: 1.T:First,look listen and answer. 1>Who are they? Xiaoxiao qiaoqiao jim 2>What are they doing? They are practicing for the talent show. T:Follow me .practicing T:who can read? 2.T:look .Jenny is good at playing at guitar and Jim is good at playing the drums.xiaoxiao sings the best.but,can they make a good band? Ss:NO.
T:They can not make a good band.Because they have’t a pianist,Qiaoqiao plays the piano the best.But,he is too young. T:Read “too young”one by one. OK,good. 3.T:boys and girls,look at picture. 1>
what does Qiaoqiao want to do? He wants to join the talent show. 2>
what is qiaoqiao good at? He is good at pianist. T:Without a pianist.you can make a good band.qiaoqiao says. Follow me the sentence. T:who can read? 4.T:Now,listen and repeat. 5.T:Read the dialogue for teams. 6.分角色度课文。
7.分角色表演课文。
T:Let us give them a big hand. 三.Pracice 1.T:Look,read and choose Ture or False.(PPT) 学生读短文,做练习。
