1.通过歌曲热身，以及关于教师的话题讨论活跃课堂气氛，复习本单元核心句型。

2.通过教师的演示活动激发学生学习的热情，并渗透文本中的throw…into和tasty。

3.通过让学生读图，快速阅读文本回答问题，细读文本划出关键词和关键句回答问题等方式，教给学生阅读的技巧，培养阅读能力。

4.阅读课外类似的小故事，师生交流，培养学生的语言运用能力。

5.在理解的基础上模仿语音语调，学会表达人物的心理活动和情绪。

情感态度与价值观目标：

激起孩子们阅读的兴趣，激发他们通过阅读了解丰富多彩的动物世界的热情。

本部分呈现的是田鼠如何机智地摆脱被蛇吃掉的厄运，在紧张的故事情节发展中复习巩固本单元核心核心词汇和句型。教师帮助学生通过图片和上下文理解句子的意思，如Don’t throw me into the lake，

Pre-reading

1. Teacher tells students that she can do magic. Then the teacher throws

vitamin C to the water. Students can see the bubbles and they are so surprised. At last, teacher tells students that she can’t do magic. She just can make tasty drink. 2. Teacher can sing, dance and make tasty drink. Teacher asks students why. Remind them to say that the teacher is clever.

While-reading 1.

Lead-in the story. Today we will meet two new animal friends. Look at the picture and answer:

Who are the animal friends? 2.Read the story quickly and answer: Who is clever? Who is silly?

3. Students read the story carefully. Underline the key words and answer:

What can the rat do? At the same time, ask students how they can find the answers. And then show pictures and dialogues to students. (The rat can sing, dance and swim.) 4.

The rat can swim, but he says that he can’t swim(show pictures and dialogues to students). Why? Read the story with the teacher and try to answer. At the same time, try to understand that the rat is clever and cute, and the snake is so silly. When the rat runs away, the snake is very angry, but the rat is very happy and so proud of itself. 5.
