一、教材分析

本单元的教学内容是谈论时间。

二、学情分析

讨论时间是在学生已学数字基础上进行的，本单元的内容对学生来说难度不大。

三、教学目标

（一）知识与技能目标

1、全体学生能理解：time, school, start, past, late, go to bed, exercise, playground, before, join, skipping rope, coffee, tea。

2、全体学生能认读：time, school, late, exercise, playground, before, skip, tea。

3、全体学生能说：What time does your school start? My school starts at…. （二）过程与方法目标

通过小组合作、情景交际等方法，培养学生自主学习、合作学习能力，发展学生英语语言基本技能。

（三）情感态度与价值观

通过本课对学校生活的讨论，引导学生珍惜时光，充实快乐的度过在学校的每一天。

四、教学重点

时间的表达，尤其是整点和半点的表达方式。

五、教学难点

如何结合实际，在真实的语境中运用“What time……..”句型询问事情发生的时间，并做出回答。

课件、单词卡片、石英钟

七、教学过程

Step1:Warming-up 1、Greetings：

T:Class begins! Stand up! Hello boys and girls! Ss: Hello Miss you. T: How are you ? Ss: I’m fine thank you , and how are you ? T:I’m fine too, thank you. Sit down please. 2、Sing a song : A good friend. 3、开火车

Count one to twelve. 4、PPT展示活动1挂图，请学生猜一猜：What are they doing ？

5、播放活动1动画，请学生看动画，看看自己的猜测是否正确：

The boy is going to go to school. 6、使用单词卡，带领学生学习：time, past, school, start, late。

结合句子：What time is it now ? School starts at nine . I don’t want to be late.学生开火车读句子。

7、引导学生注意：英语和汉语的时间表达方式存在着一定的差异，比如活动1出现的“half past eight”，汉语意思为“八点半”。很明显可以看出：英语先说“half”再说“eight”，而汉语先说“八点”，再说“半”。并且告诉学生在表达整点时，o’clock可以省略也可以加上。引导学生关注这种差异。并对时间（整点、半点）进行训练，PPT展示图片，点名说。

8、对时间表达进行训练：

PPT出示chant: Get up, get up, I get up at six. Have breakfast, have breakfast, I have breakfast at seven. Go to school, go to school, I go to school at half past seven. Watch TV, watch TV, I watch TV at five. Go to bed, go to bed, I go to bed at eight. 9、再次播放活动1，学生跟读，同桌互读，部分展示。

【设计意图】课前一首歌可以活跃课堂气氛，使学生愉快地进入英语学习中去。通过chant既复习巩固了以前所学的知识，又为本节课的学习打下基础。

Step2:进入文本

1、师生互动

T：I get up at half past six. What about you? What time do you get up? 引导学生回答，在问过几个学生后适时板书，并领读,重复读 half past six。

在学生回答问题后，教师适时进行呼应：Oh, I get up before … o’

clock. 出示石英钟What time is it? (Seven.) I have breakfast at seven o’clock. What time do you have breakfast? What time do you go to school? 运用What time…?多提问几个学生，适当时候让全体学生代替教师问, 在学生回答问题后，教师适时进行呼应：Oh, I get up/have breakfast/go to school before … o’clock. 引导学生理解、学习before一词。

【设计意图】利用已经学过的知识导入对新句型What time…的认识和理解，并引导学生做出回答，利用教师的的评价自然解决了before一词的理解和使用。

2、T: What time do you do exercises? At nine o’clock or half past nine? （利用体态语帮助学生理解do exercises的意思）

Yes, we do exercises at half past nine. 教读exercise，每小组读3遍。

加动作说：do exercises 单人检查，并问:what time do you do exercises? 生：I do exercises at +时间. （在学生回答时，教师根据学生的回答做出评价。如果学生回答的时间过早或过晚，教师要适时评价。 e.g. It’s too late/ early. I think you can do it earlier/later.）

3、T: Where do you do exercises? In the classroom or in the playground? (在操场)

Yes, we do exercises in the playground. 教读playground（这是一个合成词，可以分开教，以利于学生记忆。），开火车读。

4、T: What else do you do in the playground? （在操场上还做些什么？）We can skip,use our skipping... .故意停顿，PPT出示hope so 然后让学生自己读出新单词rope。T:Yes,use our skipping rope. 走到一名学生面前，问：We have skipping rope ,do you want to join us? S1:Yes,I do.T:OK,join us tomorrow.有的学生可能不知道join，借此机会学习join. 【设计意图】在对话交流中对新单词进行了渗透，并根据学生好动的特点加上动作有利于记忆。

Step3:Presentation T: Just now we talked about our school life in China. but Amy’s school is in England. Amy’s school life is very different from us.(学生听不懂时加上汉意。) Do you want to know Amy’s school life?(Yes.) 【设计意图】用学生自己的学校生活导入到Amy的学校生活，有鲜明的对比性，学生感兴趣，使他们带着想深入了解国外学校生活的欲望投入到了课文学习中去。

Step4:Text 1、播放活动2，学生听。

2、（1）Listen again and answer the following questions: What time does Amy’s school start?

What time does Amy get up? 听录音前，先让学生读懂问题，录音结束后，师生共同订正答案。

Amy’s school starts at nine o’clock. 重点读一下 starts Amy gets up at half past nine. 重点读一下 gets （2）T: What time does your school start? (板书) 引导学生回答:My school starts at eight o’clock.并板书。

（3）教师领读板书的两组句型,同桌互读，部分学生展示。

【设计意图】在了解了课文大意的前提下，让学生带着问题再次听录音，通过回答问题反馈学生对课文的掌握情况。

3、再次播放活动2，全班跟读，男女生互读互听。

【设计意图】再次读课文，关注学生的语音语调。

Step5:Practice 1、我问你答：PPT出示图片. A：What time do you ... ? B: I... at +时间. 2、随堂检测

（1）-What time does your school start? -My school ( ) at nine o'clock. A. start B.starts （2）I get up at ( ). A. half six B.half past six （3）We school starts at( ) . A.nine B.eight

3、Look and say:（两人一组先对动4图片进行说明，再对PPT图片进行）

T: Look here, I have some wonderful pictures. Let’s enjoy the pictures. Ok? I’ll ask one of you to choose a picture and the others ask him or her a question with “What time do you…？”(必要时进行翻译。) 1名学生到台前任意指一幅图片，其他的学生用What time do you …？询问他，这位学生做出回答。也可以是教师指图片，男生问，女生答；分组问，分组答。

【设计意图】抽图片这个小环节，学生比较感兴趣，都想来试试，在说的同时有效地练习时间的表达方式。

4. Group work(小组合作)我是小记者: 请两位同学扮演采访与被访者，参看表格中的提示进行采访示范，也可发挥想象自定采访内容,其他组员记录，教师巡视。

【设计意图】我是小记者的活动，可以充分体现学生的主体地位，自主采访，既运用了所学语言，又增加了学生之间的友谊。

Step6:Summary

结合实际，点明句型的实际应用。

半点：half+past+钟点数（基数词）

Step7:Homework 在课上已经了解了组内小伙伴的日常活动时间，课下继续以“我是小记者”的方式了解其他组伙伴的日常活动时间，增进友谊吧！
