All the students say the chant of “Listen and enjoy” aloud together.

Revision
of “Listen and say”

The students ask and answer the questions about the part of “Listen and say” two by two.

Have the students try to describe one of the characters. Such as “The students want to make presents for their famililies and
friends . Ms Guo is helping them.
Jill wants to make... Peter is making a ... Joe and Alice are making a ...
(设计意图:
六年级的英语教学中,尽量让学生互相问答并表述,老师把时间留给学生,让学生在有限的时间尽量地说英语,同时也可以增加全班学生发言的机会,让学生不再是旁听者,不再是记录者) 二、While-task procedure 1.
Show the title and the picture. Write down “Lu Ban and the saw” on the blackboard.

Learn the word “tool ”.
The saw is a kind of tool with many sharp teeth.

Show the picture “Lu Ban and the saw” again. Questions: Lu Ban saw the saw happily. Why? There are two saws in the sentence. Are they the same?

Watch the video of “Lu Ban and the saw” with the question.

Volunteers try to answer the question. Because he made the first saw in the world. He could cut things with it easily. 6.
