cards and pictures of new words

Teaching steps:

Step1 Warm-up

1.Flash cards or toy show 教师快速呈现图片或者动物玩具,学生以最快的速度说出动物的名称。

2.Free talk in groups.

Step2 Presentation

1、Sing a song:“Old MacDonald”

在听歌曲前,教师提问:歌曲中一共出现了几种动物?它们是什么?

Play the tape and get the Ss to listen.

Play again and get the Ss to listen and repeat.

1、Read and count

限时完成课文第43页内容。

2、Look and match

3、限时完成课文第44页内容。

4、Story time:

1)Play the tape and get the Ss to listen.

T: Besides Zoom and Zip, who is in the story?

(Pig, dog, duck, rabbit)

Play again and get the Ss to listen and repeat.

T:Why do they follow Zip?

(Because Zip has a carrot.)

2)Get the Ss to try to act out the story in pairs.

Step3 Practice

1. W hat’s in my big blue bag?

教师把一些本单元所学习的动物单词以及大小字母卡片,都藏在一个蓝色包里,每次让一位学生用手触摸袋子里的物品,然后猜抽中的物品,教师用What’s this?来提问,而下面的学生则会用What’s that?来提问。
