本课教材是外研社《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）六年级上册Module 9 Unit 1 Do you want to visit the UN building?这一节课是本模块第一课时。是新知识的呈现.本单元主要围绕谈论意愿及介绍某景点或城市的特征这一主题开展。教学内容是通过谈论意愿复习一般现在时的用法。学习重点是用want to询问他人的意愿以及表达自己的意愿并介绍某景点或城市的特征。这一内容容量较大，老师应在学习过程中给学生提供反复学习理解掌握知识的时间和空间。既让学生复习巩固旧知，又为学生今后有效进行英语课堂学习做了充分的准备. 二，

学情分析

本单元授课对象是小学六年级学生。经过三年多的英语学习，他们有了一定的英语基础，能合作学习,有一定的语言交流能力。学生对一般现在时已经学习过，所以本单元是在复习巩固一般现在时的基础上，来询问别人和表达自己的意愿，进而介绍某景点或城市的特征。本课话题贴近学生生活实际，因此教师应该放手让学生大胆交流。同时关注基础比较薄弱的学生,让他们有练习和表现自己的机会.从而激发他们的学习积极性，让所有学生自然地同步前进，并为以后的学习打好基础。

教学目标

（一）语言知识

（1）全体学生能运用Do you want to visit the UN building in New York?谈论意愿并介绍某景点或城市的特征。

（2）全体学生能理解：around, all around, member state, inside （3）全体学生能运用：want；部分学生能运用词汇：around, all around, member state, inside。

（4）感知一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的语音语调特征。

（二）语言技能

（1）全体学生能听懂：Do you want to visit the UN building in New York? （2）全体学生能说：Do you want to visit the UN building in New York? （3）全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关短文。

（4）全体学生能按要求表达课文内容。

能体会到英语学习的乐趣，了解世界，增强爱国意识。在小组学习活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作，保持良好的爱好，积极享受学习带来的乐趣。

四，教学重、难点

（1）正确运用“want to”来谈论自己意愿并介绍他人意愿。正确运用“Do you want…? Does he/she want…?”询问别人意愿及其回答以及一般现在时的用法。

（2）用英语谈论意愿并介绍某景点或城市的特征。

（3）“want”在主语是第三人称单数时的转换以及一般现在时的用法。
