(1) Greeting. T: Good morning, boys and girls. How’s your day? Good! Today we’re going to learn Unit 5 section A, Grammar Focus to 3c. First, let’s look at today’s learning aims. (2) Review. Take out some pictures about balls. Then choose some students to answer the questions. T: I have some balls. Look! I have baseball. How about you ?

Do you have baseball?

Does your sister have baseball? Which ball does she have?

Step 2: Presentation.

(1) Read the Assertive Sentence on the screen.

I have a baseball bat.

You have two tennis balls.

She has a basketball.

They have a soccer ball. T：Now, let’s read these sentences, and try to find when should we use “have” or “has” in the Assertive Sentence. When the subject is the Third Person Singular Number, you should use “has”. When the subjects are the first person singular and plural, the second person singular and plural, and the third person plural, you should use “have”.

Step 3: Focus on the General Question and the Negative Sentence. (1) show 5 Assertive Sentence again, and teaches students how to change the Assertive Sentence into the General Question and the Negative Sentence. I have a baseball bat. Do you have a baseball bat?

(2) Try to lead students consulate the rules about how to change the Assertive Sentence into the General Question. T: when you change the assertive sentence into general question, you

need to add do or does. 第一人称单复数、第二人称单复数和第三人称单数用do. 第三人称单数用does. Step 4: Exercise

(1) Work on 3a, write down in the correct place in the chart. (2) Work on 3b, fill in the blanks with do or does. (3) Pair work, practice the conversation in 3b with your partner. Pay attention to the let’s do…

(4) Ask students to change the sentences in Grammar Focus to the Assertive Sentence and the negative sentence. Write on the blackboard. Step 5: Group work
