Teaching content: Let’s spell Teaching aims: The kids are able to perceive the sound of ‘e’ in the words and spell the CVC words with ‘e’ correctly; The kids are able to listen and spell the CVC words; The kids are able to write the CVC words correctly. Teaching Importance: The sound of ‘e’ in CVC words.

Teaching difficulties:

The rules of the pronunciation of ‘e’ and the spellings of the CVC words. Teaching aids: CAI, word cards, some pictures,magnetic letters. Procedures 1. Warm-up/Revision

a. Greetings. b. Quick response.

（设计意图：活跃气氛的同时，复习字母。）

c. T says the sound and the kids choose the magnetic letters. （设计意图：活跃气氛，复习辅音音素。）

Presentation/Practice a. A story about Red.

Red: My name is Red. This is my leg. I have a pen. It’s red. b. Listen again and choose the words. （设计意图：反复听音，使学生体会e的发音。）

c. Elicit ten.

Elicit: ‘e’ sound /e/ here. Watch a short video. （设计意图：引导学生总结出e的发音规律。）

d. Chant. Ten red pens.

e. Read, listen and circle. Then T teaches the kids to spell the words. Like: /r/ /e/ /d/ red f. Spell the words. .（设计意图：训练学生的拼读能力，为下面活动作准备。）

g. Use the magnetic letters to spell the words on the Bb.

（设计意图：通过拼读游戏进一步巩固学生的拼读能力，并激发学生拼读兴趣，掌握‘e’在CVC单词中的拼读规律。）

3. Extension/Consolidation

a. Read a story about Red. （设计意图：拼读的最终目的是阅读，一篇小短文训练学生的拼读能力。）

b. Read the story and fill in the blanks. （设计意图：再读，配上图片，帮助学生理解短文。）

c. Read and write. （设计意图：在教师示范后，通过有趣的绘本中完成书写。）
