Good English Lesson 27 Big Feet 单元目标:
知识目标:1.认识并掌握以下单词:
Trumpet, guitar, drum, recorder, headache 技能目标:能够准确听读认读单词句子。
情感目标:1、通过观察一家人看到脚印后的反应,想象故事人物猜测的过程,培养学生观察力和想象力
2、让学生感受故事的乐趣
3、在故事中树立自信,敢于表达自己。
策略目标:1. 用自然拼读法学习单词。
2. 能够在小语段中练习所学的单词。
课时安排:本课为一课时
Big Feet
课时设计:
Step 1: Greetings.通过问候,让学生顺利进入英语学习氛围。在日常问候中,复习所学的打招呼句型。(通过课前问候,锻炼孩子认真倾听的能力,并能用适合的打招呼语句回应老师。) T: Are you ready for class?
Ss: Yes, ready. T: Class begins.
Ss: Stand up, please.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Kathy. T: Sit down, please.
Ss: Thank you, Kathy. Step 2: Warming-up
Sing a song: Merry Christmas, Jingle Bell Step 3. Lead-in (1)教师通过PPT展示雪地小动物脚印的图片,并将脚印图片和对应的小动物图片打乱顺序分两列贴在黑板上,请学生将小动物与其对应的脚印进行连线。
It was snowing. There were a lot of footprints on the snow. Whose footprints were these? Was it a cat? Was it a dog? Was it a duck? (2)展示故事中雪地里的大脚印,通过教师的话语与问题导入故事:
Look, what big feet! Whose feet were they? Let’s read the story and find it out.
Step 4 Presentation 教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,引导学生观察一家人看到脚印后的反应,体会故事人物猜测的过程,并鼓励学生大胆想象和猜测。
(Picture 1)It was a snowy day.
The ground was full of snow. Chip opened the door.
What did he see? (教师指向雪地上的大脚印)
He saw some big footprints!
What big feet! “Come and look at this,”
Chip called. (Picture 2)“Come and look at this,”
Chip said. Biff came out. (教师指向Biff)
She saw the big footprints.
What big feet! “Is it a big monster?”
she asked. Do you think it is a big monster? What do you think it is? (请学生自由作答)

Biff called. Who came out? Kipper came out. (教师指向Kipper)
What big feet!
“Is it a big dinosaur?”
he asked. (Picture 4)“Come and look at this,”
Kipper called. Mum came out. (教师指向Mum)
What big feet!
“Is it a big giant?”
she asked. What do you think it is? Is it a big giant? (Picture 5)“No. It is Dad.”
教师要注意启发学生思考,每次提问之后稍作停顿,不要急于说出答案,先观察学生的反应,如学生仍回答困难,再进一步给出提示引导学生作答。
Step 5 Practice Watch the video, listen, point and read. (1)
Pair work: read in pairs dramatically. (2)
Role play the story. 通过表演让学生在真实情境中感受不同角色的情绪,并想象一个不同的故事结尾。
教师将学生分成若干5人小组,分别扮演Biff、Chip、Kipper、Mum和Dad。
学生准备2分钟后,请2-3组上台表演。教师要提醒学生表演前做角色介绍,并注意表情和动作。教师视学生表现给予表扬和鼓励。
教师围绕故事结局提问,让学生充分发挥想象力,改编故事结尾。问题可参考:
If you were Kipper, what would you say to Dad?

Games 通过“猜一猜”游戏,让学生学会灵活运用“Is it a …?”进行猜测。
教师向学生展示事先准备好的动物玩偶,并带领学生复习动物词汇(dog/cat/snake /spider/goldfish/rat等)。
教师找学生上台,随意挑选一个动物头饰,不能让其他学生看见。然后
向大家介绍自己的宠物:I have a pet. It is very lovely. What is it? Can you guess? 引导其他学生用“Is it a …?”句型提问,台上的学生根据猜测作答:No. / Yes, it is a …
