Grand Theatre 板块,运用过去时来描述Jenny的生日情景,其中参加party人物介绍,收到礼物,唱歌祝福吹蜡烛,做游戏等场景

Farmland版块主要句型、对话学习:通过主句型What did …do?来询问对方在过去某一时间点干的事,并能根据实际情况回答。两段对话中都没有联系到本单元的主题:Birthday。

学生不是第一次接触birthday这个主题,因而对birthday文化有一定了解;学生对party这个话题也不陌生,在三四年级都相应接触过一些;本单元是在以往学习基础上的一个螺旋式上升。为了遵循“语境、语篇带动词句学习”的教学规律,我们进行了“基于语篇教学的小学英语单元整体教学设计的实践研究”,

围绕单元主题,合理设计课时话题,再构文本,成为有意义的段落,通过语篇教学,来凸现语言的系统功能。我们对不同板块进行了不同的处理:

将Wonderland板块的话题定位于getting ready for the birthday party。

为party做准备,学生在四年级学过,但侧重点在于party前准备什么东西,而本课时根据教学内容的需要,把侧重点定位于party前小主人运用不同形式邀请客人,受到邀请的客人在接到邀请后的不同准备,要给予他人真诚的祝福,同时为Grand Theatre的学习做一定的铺垫。在这个语境中把要新学的8个单词和句子融入在整个语境中,包括了进行时态,将来时态,to have句型,there be 句型,及对物体的介绍。

对Grand theatre的语篇不做大的改编,但要适当增加party的布置,客人到达送贺卡或送礼时的生日祝福Happiness for your birthday and always . I hope you’re happy every day;吹蜡烛时的情境表演,使学生对生日的文化内涵更进一步的体会;建议做游戏时让学生进行对话情境表演,将邀请做游戏、怎样做游戏、游戏出局这个过程表演出来。也就是说将原来教材上的的陈述语篇与自己创设的对话文本,也就是具有交际作用的辅助文本有机的进行整合在一起进行教学。允许的话可以补充一篇中国小孩过周岁的文章,来体现中西方的生日文化对比。

为了体现单元教学的整体性,主题的一致性, 第一个对话谈论周末生活,适当增加一位主人公Jenny ,通过小伙伴的询问,让Jenny 说说自己的生日party,然后再引出。第一个对话我们还要注意一个其实也很重要的句型How was your weekend?How was …?

能对一次的活动、旅行进行评价、赞叹。对话二是一个游戏,在游戏中运用

其实游戏在本单元也是一个蛮重要的话题,GT中也出现过,所以在设计W时,我也特地设计了一个游戏,目的是让学生学会表达how to play the game。

单元学情分析:

本班学生对英语的喜爱,尤其在口头表达方面有较高的参与兴趣。在四年级时去funfair 谈论过游乐设施,在生日聚会上送过礼物等,谈论过校园生活,体会过enjoy的乐趣,学生对这一类的话题比较感兴趣,有阅读的需求。从技能训练来看,理解对话、故事等内容并能获取信息开展复述、写话显然是各单元的技能训练目标。在处理教学内容时,要关注知识的复现性,尽量与学生的旧知联系起来,来增加再构文本的宽度,但不增加再构文本的难度,在课堂教学中尽量给学生进行表达的机会。

本课内容学生已接触过的:

词汇方面:本课的词汇中stop,blow已作为三会单词学过学生基本会说blow out the candles,但blow bubbles学生没有学过。

句型方面:现在进行时态、将来时态、there be 句型、to have句型学生已经学过。

1、每位学生能主动参与听、读、说的学习过程,A\B类学生能正确认读Wonderland中与单词相关的句子,理解意思;中等和偏下学生在图片和文字提示下表述句子。

2、根据创设的情景,每位学生能积极参与语言训练活动中,能听懂文本材料并找出关键信息。绝大多数学生能在理解文本的基础上根据板书进行文本填空、复述文本。

第一课时文本:

Next Saturday will be a special day for Jenny. It will be Jenny’s birthday. Jenny’s parents will have a birthday party for her . Jenny will invite a lot of guests to her birthday party.

Jenny will invite her uncle to her birthday party. He will go to the video shop. He will buy her a new CD. Jenny will invite her grandparents to her birthday party. They will go to the bakery. They will buy a big cake with candles for her. . Jenny will invite her friends to her birthday party. They will make a birthday card for her.

They will play a lot of games. They will have a good time.

Jenny’s birthday is coming.

It’s on Saturday.

Her parents will have a birthday party for her in the afternoon.

Jenny invites a lot of guests to come to her party.

Jenny’s uncle will arrive in Shanghai on Saturday. He will give Jenny a new CD as a birthday present. Because Jenny is a song fan.

She loves music. She has got many discs. Jenny’s grandparents do some shopping in the supermarket.

They buy a CD rack for her.

And they put the CD rack in a nice parcel. Jenny’s friends are talking about the party.

They want to do a lot of things at the party.

They can stand around the birthday cake and singing the “Happy Birthday” song. They want to sing and dance at the party.

They want to play a lot of games.

They can walk around the tree and blow bubbles in the yard.

They can play the game of Traffic Light. When the traffic light is red, they must stop walking. When the traffic light is green, they can walk again.

Some are standing around the birthday cake. Some are running around the chairs. Some are walking around the chairs How much is this yellow CD rack? It’s ten yuan. How much is the pink CD rack? It’s fifty yuan. The pink CD rack is cheap. The yellow CD rack is expensive. I like the cheap one.

Jenny’s birthday

Yesterday was Jenny’s birthday. She had a party at home in the afternoon. All her friends were there. At about 5 pm, another two guests arrived at her house. They were Jenny’s grandparents. They gave Jenny a parcel. There was a CD rack in it. Now Jenny could put all her discs in the rack. What did the children do at the party? They sang the “Happy Birthday” song to Jenny, and Jenny blew out the candles on her birthday cake. Then the children played the game of Musical Chairs. When the music started, they ran around the chairs. And when the music stopped, everyone had to find a chair to sit on. Oh, there was no chair for Mingming. He was out of the game. They all had a great time.

以游戏的方式学习段落中的新词句,在玩中学,在学中玩,使所学知识变得更扎实。

在解决词汇的基础上,训练学生听的能力,能收到事半功倍的好效果。
