《How Are You?》教学设计

一、教材分析

本课时教学内容为How are you? I’m fine. Thank you./ This is .../ Nice to meet you. Me,too. 重点句型多为日常会话用语，通过多样的练习和运用，帮助学生掌握新知，并能够在日常生活中灵活运用。

二、学情分析

三年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段，这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此，在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况，采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意，努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

三、Teaching aims: 1 . Cognitive objects: Learn new expressions to greet each other,such as “How are you?”

“I’m fine. Thank you.”

Introduce someone can use “This is ...”. 2 . Ability objects: Students understand these new sentences, and use them by themselves. 3 . Emotional objects: Cultivate students good habits that they can use English to greet others. Then to be polite kids. They will be interested in learning English. 四、Teaching key and difficult points:

Step 1 . Warming up

1 . Clap hands and chant “follow me”

Follow me, Follow me, Hands up, Hands down. Follow me, Follow me, Stand up, Sit down. Follow me, Follow me, Stand up again, Turn around.

Follow me, Follow me, Sit down please, One two three.

2 . Sing an English song “ABC song” to review the letters.

Step 2 . Review Unit 1

Make dialogues with students or they practice with each other use sentence patterns what they learned in Unit 1. A: Hello! B: Hi！

A: I'm ... What's your name?

B: My name is ...

A: Nice to meet you.

B: Nice to meet you, too.

A:Goodbye, ...!

B:Bye-bye, ...!

Step 3 . Leading in

T: Hello, I’m Miss Ju. What's your name?

S1: My name is ...

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.

T:How are you?

S1:(lead them to say)…I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. You’re very clever!

T:Now, we will learn our new lesson “Unit 2 How Are You?”.

Step 4 . Presentation (1)

Lead students to read “How are you?”

“I’m fine. Thank

you.” , And pay more attention to their tone and pronunciation. (2)

Clap hands and give a beat. Everybody practice these sentence patterns together. (3)

Choose someone to practice sentence patterns

T:Hello, Jerry!

Jerry:Hi, Miss Ju!

T:How are you? Jerry:I’m fine, thank you.

T:(to everyone) Hello, boys and girls! This is Jerry. Ss:(lead them to say) Hello, Jerry! Nice to meet you. Jerry: Nice to meet you, too.

Then, practice dialogue more times with students. (4)

Take out characters’ cards of text, and lead them to say “This is Kitty. ”

“Me, too.”

“This is Li Shan. ”you.”

“Me, too.”

“This is Liu Zhaoyang. ”to meet you.”

“Me, too.”

Choose two students to make a situation.

“Hello, Liu Zhaoyang! Nice

“Hello, Li Shan! Nice to meet “Hello, Kitty! Nice to meet you.”

T: S1 is my friend. S2 is my friend. But S1 and S2 are not

friend. Let me introduce them.

Give them models three times, then choose someone to stand up and other all students introduce them to me.

Listen to the tape and answer questions after the listening.

Read the dialogues together after the tape. Then explain the context for students. (8)

5 . Role play (1) Let them exercise sentences with their partners for one minute.

(2) Choose someone to show themselves on stage. Dress on the characters’ cards and role play their dialogues.

Step 6 . Summary

Let students review what we learned this class. Practice sentences with all students together. Tell them to be a polite primary student, because we are a big family.

Step 7 . Homework

Practice the dialogue with your friends.

一、

课前拍手chant，吸引学生注意力，整理学生并调整上课状态。每节课开课以前，我就上节课所说内容，采用师师问答、生生问答、小组问答等多种形式进行复习，这一方法不仅有效的复习了上节课或以前所学的内容，而且为新授内容做了铺垫，起到了承上启下的作用。

二、本单元的主要内容为“相互问候”。这是学生在生活中经常涉及的问题。在新课导入部分，我先询问学生How are you?引导学生用I’m fine.进行回答，进而自然学习问候问答—How are you? —I’m fine, thank you.的句型，结合上节课学过的自我介绍的基本句型。学生可以进行简单的问好。

三、尽量用英语组织教学，创设各种情景，鼓励学生大胆对话。

用英语组织教学，可以烘托英语课堂气氛，增强学生的求知欲，提高学生的听说能力。这一环节非常重要，是学生练习听力的良好机会，也是学生学习与模仿的途径之一。坚持用英语讲课，刚开始从最简单的短语、句子、日常英语开始，然后逐步加深。当学生听得不太懂时，配以动作、表情或适当的解释说明，使学生沉浸在浓厚的英语气氛之中，通过英语交流，提高了学生听说能力，也无形中发展了学生运用英语进行交际的能力，培养了他们灵活运用英语的习惯。

四、新授知识结束后，进行及时练习，加深学生记忆。最后进行角色扮演游戏练习，学生反应积极，练习准确到位，将本节课新学内容与上单元内容结合，直观体现本节课的教学成果。
