本模块阅读主要介绍厦门和鼓浪屿。由于自己的家乡盘州市迅速的发展，本课时阅读将知识迁移到学生自己的家乡盘州市，通过阅读和口语表达让学生学会用英文介盘州市的旅游景点和一些传统文化，让他们更了解自己的家乡，增强对家乡的自豪感和责任意识，与此同时，随着人们生活水平的提高，常常出去旅游，让学生们意识到做一个文明的游客保护和保护旅游景点的重要性。

Analysis of the learning situation(学情分析)

本课时教学内容是学生熟悉的话题，教学中学生应该对教学内容很感兴趣，而且高一学生有了一定的阅读能力和分析能力，但是在运用语言和解决实际问题的能力方面还有待于提高，因此要逐步培养学生学以致用的能力。另外，学生在学习短文时，对文章所涉及的现象和文化内涵理解的深度不够，因此在教学过程中，运用了盘州市旅游景点视频，做好阅读之前的铺垫，激发学生的兴趣，并分别为不同层面的学生设计了学习任务，兼顾到各个层次的学生，使学生们能对课文内容提出

自己的疑惑和勇于阐述见解，使他们能有所收获。

Step1 Brainstorming 1,Play a video（播放盘州市的一些旅游景点，导入新课）

(1)How do you feel about this video? (2)Where are they? 2,Ss answer these questions one by one voluntarily. 设计意图：利用视频教学，形象生动，激发学生学习兴趣，把即将阅读的部分内容形象展示在学生面前，以帮助学生更好的理解课文。

Step2 New words 1.Show some pictures of scenic spots to learn the words. 2. Ask the Ss to list other scenic spots as they know. 设计意图：通过展示盘州市旅游景点的图片，吸引学生的注意力，提高学习兴趣。同时还能复习所学有关景点的词汇和学习新单词，为学生扫清阅读障碍。

Step 3 Reading Task 1 Skimming Choose the general idea of the text.

1，What’s the main idea of this passage？

A,Talk about the people of Panzhou County. B,The introduction of Panzhou County. C,The tourism of Panzhou County. 设计意图：通过跳读的阅读技能，了解文章大意，有利于提高学生阅读能力。

Task 2 Scanning(in groups) 一，Find the answers in the passage. 1,Where is located in Panzhou County? 2,How many people and area are there in Panzhou County? 3,How many nationalities are there？

4,What is the weather like? not too cold in winter or too hot in summer 5,Where can you go after dinner? 6,How many scenic spots(旅游景点) does the passage mention? 7,How much national folk culture does the passage mention? 二，Answer the questions voluntarily. 设计意图: 通过精读，概括段落大意，培养学生细读的能力，抓住课文里的细节内容。进一步提高学生的阅读归纳能力。

Step 4.Speaking 1 1,Divide Ss into 6 groups and discuss the question. What should you do as a good tourist? 2,Answer the questions voluntarily. 3,渗透法治教育--<<旅游景点保护法>> 设计意图：小组合作提高学生的学习兴趣和合作能力，小组的学生们通过讨论，提高了学生的口语表达和增强了学生对变成一个好的游客的意识。

We love our hometown--Wonderful Panzhou 2，Please write down our best wishes on the sticky notes to our hometown and put up your wishes on the blackboard.

Step6 Homework. Write a travel diary after class and share your travel experience with the rest of class next class. 八，Design of writing on the blackboard(板书设计)

本课时教学主要沿着“视频导入→感知课文→速读课文→细读课文→加深巩固→小组讨论→渗透法制教育<<旅游景点保护法>>→语言输出”的思路实施。Reading for speaking--A Lively City-- Panzhou County是一节读说课，首先然后通过观看盘州市旅游景点的视频导入新课，然后让学生阅读一篇关于介绍盘州市的文章进行语言的输入，引导学生去思考和讨论怎样变成一个好的游客，并进行法治教育渗透。最后通过说的方式进行语言的输出。

在此教学过程中，教学目标明确，重难点突出，通过读和说，紧紧围绕主题盘州的旅游景点。而且通过视频教学和小组合作等教学方法提高了课堂教学效率，也提高了学生学习的兴趣，有效的完成了本课时教学内容。通过讨论，很自然的渗透了法治教育，增强了她们的法律意识，让学生做一个知法，懂法，守法的好学生。以此同时激发学生热

爱自己的家乡。但是由于学生的差异性，在说的环节，一些后进生无法参与到课堂中，在以后的教学中要因材施教，针对后进生设置一些相对较简单的话题鼓励他们多开口说，提高他们学习英语的兴趣。
