UNIT THREE CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL ? 一、本单元的话题和相关的语言知识

教学内容

本单元学习的话题是围绕询问，介绍中秋节，万圣节等中西方节日展开的。学习在特殊的节日所做的特殊事情及表现形式。学习了中西方历史文化背景的不同。

第九课将要学习询问中秋节时间的表达三课都围绕can you tell / show me...因此学生要会用该句型讨论其他的人或事情。对中秋节，万圣节的日期文化能够成段转述。

二、相关内容上位知识分析及结合上位知识分析确定的本单元的教学重难点

上位知识：本单元对于学生学习并不是特别陌生，三年级，四年级分别接触到了节日，及购物的课题学习，四年级下学期学习了中国传统节日端午节，儿童节时间的问法回答，及对节日大概的介绍。本单元是对前面所学知识的扩展。

如：询问某一节日在什么时间。 When is Children’s Day？

回答节日的具体时间用: It is on June 1st。

重点：能听说读写本单元的四会单词。并能听懂会转述关于询问，介绍中西方节日的日期文化的日常用语，并能在实际情境中运用。并渗透中西方文化历史背景的不同。

难点：学生能够在特殊的节日对所做的特殊事情成段进行转述，并能在实际情境中灵活运用，如谈论端午节，春节等。

三、各单元、各课知识点之间的联系、整合、铺垫与延伸

第九课学习了中秋节时间及空间的问法，及回答。然后学习了对中秋节进行深入讨论的用语Can you tell me more about the Mid-Autumn Festival. 第十课继续学习

can you tell me more about…? 的句型。由中国传统节日中秋节换做了西方节日万圣节。通过这俩课的学习学生能深入了解中西方文化的差异。第十一课在第十课Can you tell me...?基础上继续学习了Can you show me...?有助于学生的理解。

UNIT THREE CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL ? 一、主题课文：

Sara: What are moon cakes, Lingling? Lingling: They are round cakes. We call them yuebing. Maomao: When do you eat it? Lingling: We eat it on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Sara: When is the Mid-Autumn Festival, Lingling？

Lingling: It’s on the fifteenth day of the eighth mouth in the Chinese calendar. Sara: Can you tell me more about it? Lingling: The whole family gets together. We eat moon cakes and fruits, and enjoy the bright full moon. 功能句型：

When is the Mid-Autumn Festival? It is on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. 词汇： the Mid-Autumn Festival the Double Ninth Festival the Lantern Festival the Dragon Boat Festival 二、

教学目标

（一）知识与技能目标

1.能正确理解课文内容，朗读课文，程度好的学生可以表演对话。

2.能听懂会询问中秋节的日期和回答，及会询问介绍中秋节的特殊文化用语。

3.感受中秋节的历史文化背景，能在实际情境中初步使用。

（二）过程与方法目标：

1.通过跟读录音、pair work ，使学生能够正确朗读课文

2.根据老师出示的关键词，学生就中秋节进行综合描述。

3.通过操练句型、伙伴交流等方法，使学生掌握功能句。

4.通过关注语音,操练单词；看图片说出相关单词名称的方法学习理解新单词。

（三）情感态度价值观目标：

1了解中国传统节日文化，激发学生的爱国情感。

2培养学生弘扬传统文化的好品质。

三、教学重点和难点：

（一）重点：

1.能听、说、读、写单词，并能用英语进行简单描述

2.在实际情景中就中秋节的时间讨论进行交流。

3.能朗读课文

（二）难点：

学生能够对When is the Mid-Autumn Festival? It’s on the fifteenth day of the eighth mouth in the Chinese calendar.进行替换。

四、教具准备:

2.有关复习、引出新课、操练句型、主题图课文的多媒体课件

教学过程 Leading-in 1. Ask the students to play a game: Guessing the word. 2. Ask the students to talk about the festivals (1) What foreign festivals do you know? What Chinese festivals do you know? (2) Which festival do you like best? I like…best.

(3) What do you do in your favorite festival? I eat…on… . 激趣, 设疑猜想，引出本课话题。 结合已知，引出新知，提升学生自主学习能力和英语表达能力。 Presentation and Practice Listen and say 1. Ask the students to listen to the dialogue and answer the questions. （第一遍看视频，引出宏观问题） Watch the video and answer the questions. (1) Who are they? They are Sara and Lingling.（预设）

(2) Where are they? They are in the kitchen. （预设）

设置宏观问题，学生自主初步整体感知对话。

提升学生根据听力材料，自主回答问题的能力。 (3) What are they doing? They are making dinner… .（预设）

(4) What are they talking about? They are talking about moon cakes… .（预设） 2. Ask the students to watch the video (Part I) and answer the questions. （第二遍分部分观看视频，重点理解课文）Listen again pay more attention ”what are moon cakes?”

(1) What are moon cakes? They are round cakes.（预设）

(2) When do we eat moon cakes? We eat the moon cakes on the Mid-Autumn Festival. （预设）

3. Ask the students to watch the video (Part II) and answer the questions. （第三遍分部分观看视频，重点理解课文） third time When is the Mid-Autumn Festival? (重点板书) It’s on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar.（预设）
