Step 1

Lead-in The teacher starts the lesson with a short video about the Olympics as well as a series of pictures taken in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. 【设计说明】用奥运会相关一些体育项目的图片很能吸引孩子们的眼球，引起他们的兴趣。同时能很好的引出我们要将的主题；奥运会。此外，运用知识竞赛更能调动学生参与的积极性，充分调动课堂气氛。

Step 2

Fast reading Raise three questions from the reading passage, ask students
