Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Revision Task 1 Review some Olympic sports

【设计说明】让学生根据图片回忆体育项目，吸引学生注意力，激发学生兴趣，这样可以自然过渡到Task部分的任务：The history of a sport。

Task 2 Report about the history of a sport 【设计说明】展示学生的作品，了解学生所喜爱的运动的历史。通过问题，自然过渡到对wushu，激发学生的兴趣与爱国热情。

Step 2 Lead-in Fill in the blanks to complete the article about wushu. 【设计说明】这部分我制作了一段微课。这种方式转变了传统课堂教学的呆板的教学氛围，将枯燥的课堂赋予活力，激发了学生的学习兴趣，提高学生的学习效率，又为后面学生的语言输出做了准备。

Step 3 Reading Task 1 Read Part 1and answer questions 1.What requirements must be met before a sport can be considered by the IOC? 2.What is the process of entering a sport into the Olympics? 【设计说明】通过细节阅读让学生进一步了解怎么把一个新的项目引进奥运会，进入奥运会必须满足的要求，为之后的演讲输出做好铺垫。

Task 2 Listen to Part 2 and Part 3, and answer the questions 1.What sports have been removed from the Olympics? Why? 2.What sport has been added recently? When? 3.What other sports will be included again? 【设计说明】这部分主要是让学生掌握引进新项目或去除项目的表达，为演讲做好基础。

Task 3 Read Part 4 loudly and decide whether the sentences are ture or false 1. Wushu, a traditional Chinese sport, is a fighting sport. 2. Wushu will never be approved by the IOC in the future, because they
