一.教学目标

1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:

people, many, child, women, men

2.学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构:

3.学生能够理解并掌握下列单词的单复数形式:

Child-----children, man---men, woman----women

三.教学过程

Step1. Greeting

Good morning,boys and girls. I am happy to see you. Today I bring some pictures to you .Let’s have a look.

Step2. Presentation

1.learn the new words

show the pictures to the students and ask some questions: <1> What is this?----He is a man.(学习单词man )

What are these?-----They are men.(学习单词men)

(展示课件练习句型:What is the man doing?----He is _____.

What are the men doing?----They are _____.

A___ is ____ing. Some _____ are ____ing. 然后再用图片巩固练习这些句型。)

<2> What is this?----She is a woman.(学习单词woman )

What are these?-----They are women.(学习单词women) (展示课件练习句型:What is the woman doing?----She is_____. What are the women doing? ----They are_____. A___ is ____ing. Some _____ are ____ing. 然后再用图片巩固练习这些句型。)

<3>指着一个女孩说:This is a girl. She is a child.

再指着一个男孩说:This is a boy. She is a child, too.(学习child).分别指着一组男孩和女孩说:These are boys. They are children. These are girls. They are children.(学习children). 展示课件练习句型:What is the child doing?----She/ He is_____. What are the children doing? ----They are_____. A___ is ____ing. Some _____ are ____ing. 然后再用图片巩固练习这些句型。)

We say :Children ,men and women are people.(学习单词people).

2.Practice

展示课件让学生根据图片来练习句型

并问:Where are they? ----They are in the park.

There are many people in the park.(学习单词many)

3. 展示课件让学生根据图片来练习句型

4.Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li arrive in Beijing. They are very excited.(书写课题Lesson 7 :Arriving in Beijing)

What do you know about Beijing?(学生讨论并回答问题) Listen to the tape and follow it. Then ask some students to read the text and answer the questions:
