牛津高中英语第四模块第三单元阅读课的教学设计

Not just watching a film 1．

总体思路

阅读课不仅要提高学生把握文章大意的能力，还要培养他们根据语篇正确理解词句含义的能力及语言运用能力。在本教学设计中，笔者运用多媒体教学，把听、说、读、写、练环节有机结合起来，并从学生实际出发，从学生的兴趣，培养学生主动思考主动训练的能力。从而提高学生的英语阅读与运用能力。

教学过程

Task 1 Lead-in

1.Enjoy a short part of the film

（设计说明）插入联合国相关歌曲，营造阅读前氛围。

2.Brainstorm: What do you think life will be like in the future? （设计说明）让学生根据已有的知识进行讨论。此活动可以激发学生的学习兴趣和参与活动的热情，创设轻松的课堂气氛。

Task 2 Reading strategy: Reading a business presentation 1.A business presentation is______________________ 2.A good business presentation has to be ________________________

Task 3 Skimming 1.Ask the students to listen to the first part of Paragraph1 and find out the speaker’s (Tang Ning).attitude or opinion---a favourable opinion or an unfavourable opinion. （设计说明）插入声音，让学生找出演讲者的态度，同时训练学生的听力。

2.Discussion:If you are asked to give a speech of the UN, what will you talk about? 3.Skim the passage to find out: Which of the listed topics are mentioned? 4.Structure of the text and main idea （设计说明）设计这一活动，训练学生的概括能力。

Task4 Scanning 1. Ask the students to read Part 1 and fill in a table about the UN.

2. Ask the students to read Part 2 and answer some questions.. 3. Ask the students to give some adjectives to describe Tang Ning.

4.Ask the students to read Part 3 and find out the goals of the UN by 2015. (设计说明)插入图片引导学生分析课文，抓住关键词，找出文章的细节，完成表格；通过合作学习，培养学生详细阅读的能力。

Task5 Summary 1.Listen to the whole passage and find out the difficult sentences.

（设计说明）通过完成短文，让学生对文章有个总体把握，也是检测学生对整篇文章

的理解。

Task6 Extension(Further understanding)

What are the functions that the UN performs? Can the UN do something more to help people around the world? Please list some.. (show some pictures ) (设计说明) 通过这一部分讨论，活跃气氛，训练学生的思维和口头表达能力，同时也能加强对学生的思想教育。

Task7 Discussion 1.As a student, what can wen do to help people around us or around the world?. 2.Situation: discuss in groups to give advice on the pair of students. 3. After the discussion, let the students enjoy an English song – We

are the world. （插入歌曲）

Task8 Assignment 1.Surf the Internet to get further information about the UN. 2.Write a composition about the UN.(100-120 words)

(设计说明) 通过本课的学习，让学生具备一定的联合国知识，此步骤旨在培养和提高学生运用所学语言表达思想和情感的能力。
