Lesson 1 How many birds are there?

1.教材分析:《How many birds are there?》是北师大版小学英语三年级第九单元的内容。本课主要是要求认读1 –5 的英文单词,并且能够通过How many …are there ?There are/is 的句型运用这些单词。

2.学情分析:通过一个学期的学习,学生们对英语已经有了一定的了解,并掌握了一些日常对话用语和一定量的词汇。这个年龄段的学生正处于少年时期,孩子们具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。他们喜欢新鲜事物,对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。他们的记忆力好,形象思维好、模仿力、可塑性强,对英语有浓厚的兴趣,但缺乏理性思维,逻辑思维不强,有一部分学生对学习英语有一定的困难。

3.教学策略:探究-发现教学策略,合作学习教学策略,联系生活教学策略。

教学内容:Unit 9 Numbers Lesson 1 How many birds are there?

教学目标

1.能够说出数字one,two,three,four,five;

2.能够询问和说明物品的数量:How many...are there?There are/There is....;

3.能够在插图的帮助下理解并能朗读本单元小故事。

教学重点

1.理解并认读词汇:one,two,three,four,five,bird,egg,nest, flower。

2.询问数量的句型:How many … are there?There are/There is …

教学难点:There are和There is的区分;

教具准备:自制课件,单词卡片,图片等道具。

教学过程:

Step 1: Warming up.

Greetings.

Follow me.一起做动作。

设计意图:以动作热身,能够调动学生的情绪,活跃课堂气氛,更重要的是通过

这一首歌曲里的十个数字为本课数字学习做好铺垫。

Step 3:Story

(1)PPT呈现一张森林的图片,T:Look, here’s a forest, Mocky and Lulu are going to the forest, what can they see in the forest, let’s go and have a look. 播放故事录像。

(2)呈现第一幅图和问题What can they see?请学生回答,并教学单词birds, eggs, nests,flowers.

设计意图:带着问题看故事,听录音,让学生学会思考,并专注于课文,提高学生的注意力。

(3)T:Wow, beautiful!But how many birds are there?师拿句子请全班念,小组念,个别学生念。

How many 引导学生说完剩下的nests are there?

引导学生说句子How many eggs are there? How many flowers are there?(教师板书nests,eggs,flowers)

设计意图:采用循序渐进的教学方法,让学生掌握How many are there?这个句型,然后把所学的知识边学边积累运用。

(4)播放录像,停在图2上,问How many birds are there?全班回答three,教师呈现完整回答There are five。问How many nests are there?回答,There is one. 呈现图3,问How many eggs are there?全班回答five,教师呈现完整回答There are five。呈现图4,问How many flowers are there?全班数一数回答many,教师呈现完整回答There are many。

设计意图:通过课文图片让学生找答案,引出There are 句型的教学,教师让学生将所学内容改编成歌谣进行巩固操练,既活跃了课堂气氛,又达到了提高学习效率的目的。

(5)Yes or No

呈现4个句子让学生判断对错。

There are four bids.

There are five eggs.

There are three nests.

There are two flowers.

设计意图:通过游戏引导学生感知理解,内化和运用所学的新语言知识,营造轻

松愉悦的课堂氛围,让学生体验学习的乐趣。

(6)播放故事,教师做动作带读故事。

(7)生看书分男女生读故事。

Step: 4 Learn to say

(1)Let’s count together. Three, five, one.What’s this?教授two ,four。

(2)Special numbers

教师出示生活中一些常用的特殊号码120,114,119,110让学生说出数字。

(3)Learn to say.

Look, how many birds are there? There are让生回答。Now work in pairs,ask and answer.邀请几对学生来问答。

(4)Mocky and Lulu are doing to a market. They found out something. Play a game.(谁是火眼金睛)

How many apples are there?

How many lemons are there?

How many rabbits are there?

How many cows are there?

(5)两人一组对话练习。

设计意图:教师设计不同活动让学生进行语言输出,这是语言输入后积极主动再创造的过程。这些活动中能集中学生的注意力,激发学生的学习兴趣,调动课堂气氛,为学生搭建了一个很好的运用新知的平台。
