Fast-reading, Careful-reading, and Discussion. Step 1 Revision Step 2 Warming up and Lead-in
Listen to the material about how to download a song. Brainstorm what we can do on the Internet. Suggest surfing some good websites. Step 3 Reading and Vocabulary

Read the passage as fast as possible to get the main idea of the passage. 2)
Listen to the passage to get the main idea of each paragraph and understand the structure of the whole passage. 3)
Emphasize the language points in the passage. Step 4 Have a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of using the Internet.
Step 5 Summary and Homework.
Write a short passage with the topic “The advantage and disadvantage of the Internet” (in about 100 words).
Read the passage again and again.
