Module9 Unit2 I want to go to Shanghai.

栾川县第四实验小学徐晓月一、学情分析:

经过几年的英语学习,六年级的学生普遍有一定的英语基础,具有一定的自学能力和语言组织能力,但是在灵活应用上还有欠缺。对于运用There be 句型已经初步掌握。但是由于我们农村乡镇孩子们缺乏学习英语和运用英语的语言环境,孩子们在课堂上容易有“不知所云”的感觉,丧失了学习的主动性。因此,在教学过程中我把所学的知识与真实情景挂起钩来,围绕教学目标以“I am a tour guide…”为主线创设真实情景,让学生动起来、让课堂活起来,让学生轻松学英语。

二、Teaching Aims(教学目标)

1.知识目标:Using the sentence: I want to +动词原形+其他.Using the sentence: There are lots of beautiful places to go in +地点.

2.能力目标:Using(城市名称+is+形容词)and introduce the cities.

3.情感目标:激发学生学习英语的热情,学会用英语来与人交流,培养学生热爱家乡美丽风景之情。

三、教学重难点

重点:Using the sentence: I want to +动词原形+其他.Using the sentence: There are lots of beautiful places to go in +地点.

难点:Using(城市名称+is+形容词)and introduce the cities.

四、教学具准备:一面旗,一顶帽

五、教学过程:

Step1.warm-up.

1.Let’s chant together.

2.English wonderful show time.(2 minutes.)

Step2.Presentation.

1. T: Today we’ll learn Module9 Unit2 I want to go to Shanghai.板书课题

2. Learning aims.(Read together.)

3. Look at me,today I’m a tour guider,I want to travel .Do you want to go with me?Ok,let’go….

4.Now let’s look at a map of China.There are lots of beautiful places to go in China/Beijing/Shanghai/Luoyang…

5.Look at the screen(key words) and let the students say them:

Eg.The Great Wall long strong famous

Hangzhou east beautiful a famous lake the West Lake Guilin south a beautiful city mountains and lakes Kunming a Spring City south warm a beautiful lake

6.Practice and work in pairs.

7.Listen to the tape: Where is Kunming?

8.Open your books and read together.

9.Listen and read , fill in the blanks.

Today our tour is over,I think we are very happy.Now let’s say and write…Step4.Summary.
