一、教学目标

(一)

知识与技能目标：

能听、说、读、写词汇：weigh、kilogram、centimetre, fan,taller,go fishing,；

能听、说、读、用句型: How much do you weigh? I weigh……kilograms. How tall are you ? I am centimetres tall. You are taller. （二）过程与方法目标：

能够听懂对话并会运用恰当的句型说说身高、体重。

二、教学重难点：

能听、说、读、写词汇：weigh、kilogram、centimetre, fan,taller,go fishing,；

能听、说、读、用句型: How much do you weigh? I weigh……kilograms. How tall are you ? I am centimetres tall. You are taller. 教学难点：形容词比较级的用法。

三、教学过程

Step1 Warming-up Greetings. T：Good morning ,everyone. How are you today? S: I am fine.And you?

T: I am fine too. Thank you ! It is time to start our class.Are you ready for the class? S: Yes,we are ready. T：OK. Let’s have our class. 设计意图：以日常问候语和学生交流，拉近和学生之间的距离，并为学生在英语课上的交流作准备。

Step2 Lead-in T：Now let’s listen to a song. 播放音乐，学生欣赏。

T: Today we are going to learn about “You and me”.（板书课题）After the winter vacation, what changes do you have? S1: I am 12. S2:I am one year older. I am taller and fatter. I got a lot of lucky money. ……

T:Just like you. I am fatter too. I weigh 55 kilograms. Step 3 Presentation 1、Learn the numbers (1)

Can you read them? Read the numbers in English. Voice tube game . 读数字，一个学生说数字，另一个说英语。

2、Learn the new words.

T：板书词汇：weigh kilogram centimetre taller Can you read the words? Have a try !（Show the pictures of brush and paints , read and spell the words,read one by one.） 设计意图：出示图片，帮助学生理解词汇的意思，学生跟读、拼读、开火车读单词，掌握单词的发音。

3、Learn the pattern: （1）

Introduce yourself：

I weigh 55 kilograms . I am 158 centimetres tall . You are taller. （2）

Introduce your family My father weighs 67 kilograms . （3）

Be healthy She/He weighs 23 kilograms. She is heavier. （4）

Grow up She/He is 123 centimeters tall. （5）

Be friends Ask your friends and classmates their height and weight. 设计意图：通过设计上述活动，引导学生参与到课堂中来，在轻松活跃的氛围中，通过无意注意掌握知识。最后一个交朋友的情节，在前四个环节的基础上更进一步，学习体重和身高的提问及表达，同时给学生创设接近生活实际的情境，培养学生的表达能力，和同学之间的亲密感。

4、Learn the dialogues (1)Listen to the video and answer the questions. How much does Joe weigh? How much does George weigh? How tall is Joe? How tall is Joe? Who is taller? (2)Write Joe or Gorge in the blanks on page 3. （3）Listen and follow. （4）Role-play . 学生两人一组，扮演Miss Wang、Kitty 和 Joe,其余同学读旁白。

Step 4 Practice Think and write （1）介绍自己的朋友。

（2）出示示范句型。
