Module 6 Unit 2 There is a small monster.

Step 1 : Sing a song.

Are you ready boys and girls? Now let’s start our lesson with a song, good time.

You are super good. We will have a good time today. Look, a monster is clapping for you. Have you got a monster? Yes, you have got lots of monsters.

Show me your monsters. Have you got a big monster? Have you got a beautiful monster?...引学生说出I have got a …monster. 形容词描述。

Step 2: Now let’s make a monster poster. 教授poster.

You just come here to put your monster here, one, here, two….Oh, this is a poster.

But you have to tell, what is your monster like? How many eyes\ arms…. are there?

Practise in groups. Then show in front. 结束时引领学生说,this is our poster.

Step 3: Our poster is beautiful! Daming, Sam, Amy and Lingling have got a poster, too.

Now let’s have a look . Watch the cd-rom. And answer the questions: How many small monsters are there? How many eyes are there?

指着各处的monster 说there is a big monster….. And now we have got a new monster friend . Do you want to meet her? Who is she? Now let’s watch .

小朋友们好,你们刚才把我们monster家族的成员介绍地真好啊!I am a monster, too. Can you see me? No, you can’t. Now listen! I have got three eyes. I have got one mouth. I have got two hands and two feet. I am pink. I am a lovely monster. Look, I'm coming. And I have got three children and a husband. Do you like me ? 小朋友们,你们发现我刚才是用哪个词组介绍自己长什么样子的呀?(暂停) 是的!have got. Have got 表示某人拥有什么东西。

那你们还记得,你们自己介绍monster家族的时候,反复使用的是什么句式吗?(暂停) 对了!就是There be句型。它的意思也是有,

但是它表示的是在什么地方有什么东西,表示存在哟!

Look, it's a beautiful tree. A cat is coming. 你能用there be 句型描述一下猫的位置吗?(暂停) Very good, you are right.

Look, two dogs are coming , too. 你还会描述吗?(暂停)

There is a cat and two dogs under the tree. There are two dogs and a cat under the tree. 这两句话都是正确的哟!但是它们有不同的地方,你们发现了吗?(暂停) 这就是There be句型中的就近原则。

Step 5: Just now we learned sth about “There be”. What is “there be”? 指向主要句型。

now let’s say a chant about there be.

Step 6: Guess the room. Whose room is it? Can you use “there be “ to describe the room?

Look at this room. It’s beautiful .There is a bag on the bed. It’s pink. There are some books on the desk. There is a ball under the chair. It’s small. …I think it’s …’s room. 1)

Step 7: You can use “there be “ do many things. Now , let’s make a park with “there be “

It is sunny today. There are many people in the park. Look! There is … He’s …ing.

There are some … They are …ing. They are having a good time! What a nice day!

Groupwork: Practise and show in front.

老师拿一个图片做示范,It is a sunny day. …..there are some boys on the grass. They are playing football. 把on the grass, on the road , in the river 等地点引出来。

词组英文都在卡的背面,if you don’t know how to say it, you can come to see and ask the teacher.

Step 8: Give them a passage and use be to fill in the blanks. Then read the passage.

注意就近原则。
