一、教材分析

本课时是以“谈论学科”为话题，引导学生学习跟学科有关的单词及谈论喜爱的学科的短语，并学会用what和why引导的特殊疑问句谈论自己最爱的科目。本课时的目的是通过谈论学生最爱的科目，培养他们对学习的兴趣。

二、学情分析

（一）

知识与情感基础：到目前为止，学生已经学习了前八个单元的英语，对特殊疑问句和相关形容词已有所接触，为本单元的学习打下了基础。此外，科目与学生们的学习息息相关，通过讨论科目，能够激发学生们对各科学习的兴趣。

（二）

问题与困惑：学生对所学科目有积极表达的愿望，但是由于词汇、短语积累较少，不知该如何表达对喜爱科目的看法；同时，本课时的句型结构虽然较为简单、易于理解，但是学生在口语交流中容易出现单三错误，而且favorite前面的形容词性物主代词或名词所有格学生习惯性用错，因此需要通过多种活动来操练句型，提高学生的口语表达能力。

What day is the first day in a week?

--Sunday is the first day in a week. What day is the last day of the week? --Saturday is the last day of the week. 星期名词为专有名词，首字母均要大写；

表示“在星期几”、“星期几的上午/下午/晚上”，介词都用on。

注意：当星期名词前有last, this, next (下一个)等词修饰时, 一般不再用介词。

每个星期日

星期名词后面加上“s”，通常指“每个星期几”，用于一般现在时态中，说明经常性的动作或状态。如：

She helps her mother do housework on

Sundays.

每个星期日她都帮妈妈做家务。
