1a-2d 教学目标:
1.知识目标:

They are on the chair. 2.能力目标:
1)学会运用where等询问物品的位置2)学会运用介词
in, on, under等谈论物品的位置,并能通过听,来辨认出这些介词。
3)掌握人称代词
they 的用法。

1)整理自己的物品,热爱整洁。
2)帮助别人。

学情分析:
本班学生英语基础不十分理想,两极分化很严重。但他们学习英语的劲头还是十分足。本节课主要是询问物品的位置,以及运用介词
in, on, under等谈论它们的位置。要掌握本节课内容,学生首先必须熟悉物品的英文说法,然后才能谈论它们的位置。而本节课大部分物品词汇学生平时接触得比较多,容易掌握,所以本节课教学对于他们来说应该不难。
教学步骤
StepⅠWarming-up and revision 1.Greetings Review the
numbers and the plural forms of the nouns. Look at the pictures, ask and answer like this: What’s this in English? It’s a/an…. What’re these/those? They’re…. 2. New words. Learn the new words on the first page of Unit 4. Show the pictures on the screen with no words. Get student to speak out their names.
Step II. Presentation 1.Get the students to look at the pictures on the screen. Learn the new sentences. Where is Tom?
It’s on the box. Where is Tom?
It’s under the box.. Where is Tom?
It’s in the box. 2.Summy. 3. Practice: Look at some pictures and practice the similar conversations. Look at more pictures and learn new conversations: Where are the…?

Practice with a picture with many things in both singular and plural forms. Step III. Conversations Ask students to work with a partner. Make their own conversations by looking at the pictures. Step IV. Practice.
1. Do 1a.Ask students to match the words with the things in the picture in 1a ,then check the answers. 2. Listening practice. Listen and do 1b. Check the answers. 3. Pair work. First practice the conversation in 1a with a partner. Then ask students to make their own conversations using the words: in ,on, under…
Step V. Listening

Listen and number the things(1-6) in 2a. 2.
Listen again. Fill the things from 2a and number them in the picture(1-6) in 2b. Step VI. Pair work.(2c) Ask and answer questions about the thing in the picture in 2b. Step VII. Role-play the conversation. 1.
Learn the new words on the second page of Unit 4,2d. 2.
Listen to the tape of 2d.Ask students to read after the tape. 3.
Work out the conversation. Step VIII .Play games. Find the differences between the pictures. StepⅨ. Homework Finish the exercises on the screen.
